  1. Might as well just trade Hiura this off season. I see no path to more playing time for him here.
  2. Nothing would shock me either, but I think it would make a lot more sense to start both of them in Appleton. Chourio only hit .250 in Appleton. He had a hot start, but didn't set the world on fire like most seem to think. (8 homers was impressive but again, the hype he got and is getting seems like 8 is low) Hopefully, he continues to make strides, but I'm afraid bumping him up to AA at the beginning of the 2023 season might be a little quick. Let him start in Appleton and see what happens, then move him to AA when he is obviously ready for the jump.
  3. The Deuce Great show but not for everyone that's for sure.
  4. There is no way we plan to start next season with Ruiz, Frelick, Wiemer, and Mitchell. There is no room for all 4 rookies when we still have to have a place for Yelich. I also don't think they have any plans to have Yelich be their regular DH for the next 7 years starting next year. He'll be in the OF most days for the foreseeable future. It is far more likely that one or two of those guys get traded this offseason. I'm just hoping it isn't Frelick and Wiemer. I'd hate to see Mitchell go, and I have no connection to Ruiz, so if one has to go, I'm hoping it's him. What a shame it would be to give up on Hiura. That would bum me out.
  5. Is the Yelich in the 3 hole experiment over? Really wish Hiura was hitting against Anderson tonight. Oh I forgot, he isn't supposed to be able to hit righties. My bad. (blue)
  6. I actually think that both players will be happy as hell to get out of Milwaukee, pitch for teams that can score them some runs, and have a chance at a World Series. None of that seems to be happening here, so who can blame them?
  7. But have they been underperforming, or is this who they are? I don't see any urgency, any fire, nothing.
  8. Glad I'm not the only one that this bothers. It's not funny and not cute. Posting for self amusement is just sad and embarrassing.
  9. BOOOOOOOOOOOO! I am BOOOOOOOOOOOOOing you!
  10. Agreed, one hitter wasn't going to change our fate this season. Trading prospects for one hitter that wasn't going to take us to the playoffs would have been a bad move. Time to reset and do something different this offseason (because what we've been doing the past couple of off seasons obviously isn't working).
  11. The pitch clock isn't going to even come close to shaving 30 minutes off per game.
  12. So let me get this straight. The players wanted to keep the option of shifts, even though it goes against them as hitters? Interesting. I thought they would be against the shift so they could provide more offense and boost their stats, hence allowing them to make more millions than they already do.
  13. I'm glad someone enjoys that garbage. It would be one thing if it was occasionally, but a constant flow of it is too much, especially when the Brewers are playing so poorly.
  14. This is just bad. This isn't cute any longer. It's just bad and not funny----------at all! You aren't even getting reaction any longer, it's an annoyance.
  15. You think Hiura is a lock to return as a position player in 2023? Don't count on it. For whatever reason, management doesn't feel the same.
  16. Some would argue that the manager has no bearing on wins and losses. I would not agree with such nonsense, but there are those here that would.
  17. Yup, I had really high hopes for that kid
  18. 19 is too low for sure. Still missing a legit option at 1B and 3B though, unless they think they can move one of our many SS to 3B.

  20. It makes me feel happy to see both Hiura and Mitchell in the line-up tonight. Makes me at least feel like CC is trying to win games rather than being stubborn. (even though the real reason Keston is starting is probably because Rowdy is out with an injury) Wong hitting clean-up though, what?
  21. Just clutter up the place imo. If I want to read the articles, I go to the proper place to do so.
  22. But, by trading Peters for absolutely nothing in return, he is no longer available to be included in another future trade. The Rosenthal trade was just plain stupid. IMO of course.
  23. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Also, including Seatle in with the Brewers attendance is just plain stupid.
