  2. Which is why he won't sign an extension with us. He'll probably be happy as hell going to one of the teams who can afford to pay him, and score runs when he starts. Same thing with Woodruff, I'm sure both will be just fine with moving on from the Brewers.
  3. I feel like there are a lot of people here who feel the same as ownership and management.
  4. I heard a rumor that Hader cut off all his hair...
  5. McCutchen playing CF full time? Ummmm, I think NOT! Taylor is twice the CFer that McCutchen is.
  6. Nope, all our average hitters will take us straight to the playoffs. We didn't need a bat at the deadline, and we won't need one for the World Series either. (all in blue)
  7. geeeeeeez. I have him as a keeper on 2 fantasy teams. Hard enough having him be out all year, now it will go into next year as well. Boooooo!
  8. this nonsense is tiring. it's just maddening.
  9. Diaz needs more chains around his neck.
  10. I hope BA isn't coming back next year. He is no longer a BREWER guy, we need someone who goes through the daily grind with Rock. BA is a poser.
  11. Post game pressers are an absolute joke. No one ever asks the tough questions, and if someone hints at a tough question, it is answered with 100% vagueness and politician type answers.
  12. https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-biggest-post-trade-deadline-questions?fbclid=IwAR2wq8wdCddDr4n4mefaJsI4FvgNgxC7-0YoX8Fpdw1F5hl9g2oc6GrNDJk Interesting article, and names some names of bats were trying to get.
  13. I don't understand the venom being spewed at San Diego. They have never been a powerhouse, or feared in any way. I do understand the Machado hate, I'm right there with you on that, but the hate for the Padres in general I don't understand. With the teams that are probably in the playoff hunt, I'd rather see the Padres in the World Series than any of the other National league teams, the only thing that would bother me is seeing that punk Machado in the WS. If not for him, I'm rooting for the Padres all the way. So there lies the rub for me. Cheering on the Padres after the Brewers are eliminated will be tough all because of Machado. Meh, who knows, who cares once the Brewers are eliminated, I lose interest anyway.
  14. I agree they could cause a spark, but I disagree that it would be low pressure. Bringing up rookies in a play-off push is never low pressure. If our CF situation doesn't improve in the next 15 games, give Frelick a shot, what do we have to lose if we end up being down 5-7 games at that point. Turang doesn't paly 3B, so where are we going to play him? I'm not against giving him a try, but I'm not for it either.
  15. Those are great things to fix, but we are still left with an anemic offense, that if we do make the playoffs, will only see top ranked pitching. *sigh*
  16. You can eliminate the "mental" side of that knee injury either. Is he afraid he'll hurt it again? Is the fear of another injury weighing on the mental side of his game?
  17. Hiura of course. (in blue)
  18. I'm not sure we had that high of pre-season expectations. (we sure shouldn't have if that was the case) What did we do to improve the offense really? Added Renfroe, what else? Other than him, the entire offense remained the same, which couldn't get the job done last year either. I think as a realist, I didn't have high pre-season expectations, I just hoped we'd get better offensively, either by making a pre-season move, or at the very least, a deadline move. We didn't do either, so here we are.
  19. Woodruff. I have seen it as Woodward several times in the past week, it's Woodruff.
  20. Thankfully we took on Lamet's salary to help them out.
  21. Look no further than Cody Bellinger from the Dodgers. He was right in the running for MVP the year Yelich won it, and has fallen off a cliff since, just like Yelich. Weird game.
  22. They may have TRADED for the Marlins production, but they PAID for his MVP Brewers production. That is why I also wish they had waited on that contract until they saw how he'd react after that knee injury.
