Who are the free agent 3B that we have to choose from? I will be shocked if we have the money or are willing to spend the money to go out and sign a FA 3B that is the impact bat that we need.

I agree that no one would claim him, but we don't know that for 100% certainty.

Geez, you are becoming insufferable. Just relax and don't take everything so damn personal. Not everyone agrees with you, it's a message board, it's ok that people don't always agree with you. Your constant desire to always be right, and demeaning those that don't agree with you is tiring.

Nope, there is a lot of this going on here lately. Disagree with someone, get ridiculed. People really have a hard time being able to accept that they are not always right, and there are differing OPINIONS than their own in this world.

One thing that really disappoints me is the fact we traded for an outfielder. Our farm is stacked with outfielders, I mean LOADED! Was that really the position to grab when we still don't have a decent 1B or 3B in the system? Yelich will be in LF for a while yet, that leaves CF and RF (which Renfroe will be holding down for the near future) Let's say Frelick, Mitchell and Wiemer are ready to go, now add Ruiz into the mix. That is quite a logjam if all those guys pan out and are ready to make the big jump at or around the same time. (yeah, yeah, I know, prospects are prospects and there is no guarantee that will happen, but still...) So many things about this deadline are confusing.

What team would possibly want Severino this season to begin with? He can't play in the playoffs, so that pretty much eliminates any team still in the hunt. A team with no hopes in making the playoffs wouldn't want to give up anything for him. Why would the Brewers hang onto him hoping for a trade when there is literally no one that would want him. It will be interesting to see if anyone claims him.

Ummmm Actually they are 6-4 since the all star break. Peralta is already back. The trade deadline has passed. This post was started 25 minutes ago, so I think there has to be some funny business going on here. -

I'm not sure what you are against here. Yelich as DH batting leadoff, or Yelich batting leadoff in general. If it upsets you that he is at DH and hitting 1st, that makes no sense at all. If it upsets you that Yelich is hitting 1st because he is hitting 1st, that makes no sense at all either. Have you been watching this team the past month? Since he started hitting leadoff, he is actually valuable to this team offensively. Not hitting homers anymore, but getting on base a LOT.

So let me get this straight. Lament, one of the pieces in the Hader deal has been DFA'd. This is a horrible look for the organization from the average fan's point of view. There will be negative blowback on this, that you can count on. Just adds to the disappointment of the deadline deals in my opinion. -
