Baseball, especially hitting, is really hard. But that's what these guys are paid a lot to do. There's amazing pressure. Their job is to handle it. They haven't handled it. Too little too late. Alas.

Random Aside: I listen on MLBTV audio. For most of the season I have heard a bunch of annoying generic national or local (New Orleans) ads between innings. Tonight I'm getting Milwaukee-centric ads again (which I prefer for novelty, all things considered). Weird but OK.

He's a decent leadoff guy. But he used to be... and is paid to be... an RBI threat, not a guy for whom a walk is a great plate appearance.
