  1. Well yeah, if you want to do it the EASY way! But really, THANKS for this tip! I might have learned it from the YouTube announcers in previous games if I had paid attention.
  2. It's possible to pause the YouTube feed and sync it with the radio feed (at least the MLB-TV audio) You'll still be a minute behind reality (and the posts here)
  3. Looking like the typical Brewers loss: a fine pitching performance wasted because we can't score.
  4. Happy to be able to watch this evening. If I'm a minute behind reality it won't be because of MLB.TV
  5. And with 2-out RBIs! [EDIT: I'm looking at ESPN's Gamecast; something's weird.]
  6. If you seek to confirm my instincts with data and reason, you have succeeded.
  7. Maybe it was batting against minor league pitching
  8. Much can happen in the 2d half. You don't have to the D_-_ Yankees to get hot and go all the way. But, alas, with a mere half-game lead (thanks to a St Louis rainout today) I don't sense any heat at this point. I hope I'm wrong.
  9. I don't see the games or sense the body language or visible dugout vibe of the team. But whenever I listen to CC's monotone radio chats, or see him on TV (which is very rare), I sense ZERO degree of fire or excitement. Some player has to take charge, and not with words but with deeds.
  10. I am unable to express how much I agree with this.
  11. After 2 tough late losses, a win today might at least get some of us off suicide watch.
  12. Typical loss. 2-1. Fine pitching, no hitting. Kinda glad it wasn't on TV in New Orleans.
  13. Let us hope so. I'm glad I did not stay up for that..."thing"... last night. I checked the score when something woke me up briefly in the wee small hours, but this morning I figured I must have only dreamed that Hader gave up 3 (THREE!) HRs including a walk-off Grand Slam. Alas, it was real. GAHHH! Still unbelievable. But that's baseball: sometimes you win incredibly; sometimes you lose incredibly. Let's win tonight.
  14. When you put it THAT way..... still a bit disappointing tho'.
  15. Yes! But also guys who want to hit and not play ump.
  16. I suggested he had been a decent pre-Wong regular 2d baseman. Someone else said he was "never" decent. Wattevah; I dunno But I don't understand how you can keep treating this hard-working do-anything guy like a fleeping yo-yo when he's been as good at the plate lately as just about anyone else. Meanwhile, don't we have 3 catchers? bughghghhgh
  17. I can't explain this logically, but YES! Hader is good for one thing, and ONLY one thing: getting a save in 1 inning. (And he's not perfect at it, but who is?)
