As noted by others, a better 1B might have snagged those throws, or at least one of them. But, yeah, he's not great and the corners are not very strong defensively. Winning by 2 touchdowns covers a multitude of sins!
It doesn't seem that long ago that some (e.g., me) were bemoaning the lack of offensive punch after some 2-1 loss or another. Now, if Yelich can just get back to form.... woot.
Getting kinda tired of waiting for Yelich to return to form. It used to be, "Oh boy, Yelich is up!" No such expectations so far this year. And it's August EDIT. I see I was a little late to this party. But yeah, he's probably been the biggest disappointment of the year (including Hiura).
Hasn't it been observed more than once that the Brewers tend to win when they score 4 runs or more? With their pitching, that seems to be a good number for them.
Considering the less-than-perfect defense today, we're lucky to be down by only 2-1. Pretty solid pitching, but we gotta get some runs; I think that's only been said a few hundred times this season.
