    I expected at least one more move, but admit if I had guessed, this wouldn't have been in my top 10 guesses. So in a normal 6-game week...Sanchez catches one, DH for 2 more with the other three games DH coming from the extra outfielders?

    Am I missing anyone that could be in the big league infield (other than 1st base) as a starter or utility option? Adames - SS ;Turang - 2B, SS ;Ortiz - SS, 2B, 3B ;Black - 3B, 2B ;Miller - 2B, 3B ;Arroyo - 3B, 2B, SS ;Dunn - 2B ;Capra - 3B, SS ;Jones - 2B Will someone be moved or is this back to the "everything will work it's way out"? Is a deal with the Marlins... Edward Cabrera for J Payamps + one of Adames/Turang/Ortiz doable?

    The deal doesn't excite me, but truthfully I'm not really surprised at the return. With that said, something else is coming with Adames or a FA signing...right?

    Not surprisingly, this is the move I've wanted since the start of the offseason. Will it work out? Who knows. But it does represent the biggest "go for it" move the Brewers have made in quite awhile. I'm fine with the opt out after year one as all along I was hoping just to buy another year for Wilken to progress.

They include: JBJ to the Brewers in March 2021 Moustakas to the Brewers in February 2019 KRod in both February 2015 & February 2014 Lohse in March 2013 So maybe it's our time again.

    Exciting list of players. How many could have a realistic chance of making the opening day roster? 2? 3? 4?

    With this event now canceled, will the Brewers still announce the Rhys Hoskins signing on Saturday even though they won't have the fan event to do it at? Hey, I can dream of the pro wrestling-type entrance of a new signee. (Or should that be the Kevin Mench-type entrance 😃)

    I've considered adding Belt, but it brings up a couple of questions. 1. As discussed in the article, how much time can he handle at 1st base? Is he strictly a DH at this point of his career? 2. What is the team's plan for Jake Bauers? If the Brewers see something in Bauers, then Belt becomes redundant. Better to pair with a RH 1st baseman (Another reason I'd prefer to spend the extra on Rhys Hoskins)

    Was wondering the same thing as I could see Boston try to make a splash with a Burnes trade. Would it have to be quantity over quality type return? Assuming they wouldn't deal their top prospect, SS Mayer (#11 in the top 100) but maybe headlined by the second best, 19-yr old OF, Roman Anthony (listed at #35, just one spot ahead of Misiorowski). Top pitching prospect is Wikelman Gonzalez, number nine in their top 30. A 21-year-old RHP with a big league ETA of 2025.

    All the more reason to make Rhys Hoskins our number one signing this year. Add his power bat across the infield with a two-year deal (player opt out to entice him) which buys time for Wilken to get another year under his belt before replacing him.

    Agreed completely. Unless we are expecting the payroll to drop to extreme levels, there is no reason that Hoskins can't fit. He has been my number 1 "get" from the beginning of the offseason, whether we keep Burnes or not.

    I've wondered (hoped) that this will be the case for Attanasio this year. Sign Rhys Hoskins, and a starter and see if keeping the gang together for one more year leads to a bigger bite from the apple.

    I was disappointed that Toro didn't get more of a shot last year when we struggled offensively. Maybe he wouldn't have continued his numbers in a bigger role, but now we will never know.

    I glad to see that the Brewers brass learned from history...Don't wait until the middle of the year to bring in the older, longtime coach to run the show. Kuenn got them to the World Series in '82 taking over in the middle of the season; Murphy will surely finish the deal with being in charge since Day 1. 🙂
