    I understand the team doesn't like Toro's defensive ability (or lack thereof), but I have shaken my head repeatedly here at the end of the year that he isn't a better pinch hit option off the bench than some other guys we have kept.

    So I know the Brewers have said that if Mitchell makes the post season roster, it will be in a limited role...my question is What would he have to do over these last 4 games to carve out a bigger role for the playoffs?

    Curious if we see some AAA players around this week now that Nashville is done. Not necessarily added to the roster (or even added for the start of the playoff roster), but just to have them around incase someone should be hurt this week or next. Kind of a taxi squad like happened during the COVID seasons. I can't imagine sending a guy home for the winter and then needing to get them back into town and ramp them back up for a playoff roster if someone gets hurt.

    Stay with me... If the Phillies dropped to the 3rd wildcard, that means they will struggle over the next couple of weeks (to fall below the Cubs and Dbacks) and thus would be ripe for the picking in the wild card round. (Again, I'm just trying to rationalize why I wouldn't say the Cubs, the team I feel is the poorest of the three.)

    I've been thinking about this for awhile... My head says to stay away from Arizona with Gallen and Kelly that would help negate the advantage Burnes & Woodruff would give us. My head also says to stay away from Schwarber and the clutchness that is Harper. But I just don't think I could stand the stadium being half-full of Cubs fans. So I voted for Philly.
