  1. This is exactly where I am at. Will Vaughn come back to Earth...maybe, but I'm more looking forward to the possibility of pinch hitting for Ortiz with someone other than Anthony Siegler. Will O'Hearn go for a deal similar to what Seattle paid for Naylor? If so, sign me up immediately.
  2. While this team can be frustrating at times (especially for those of us to hang on every pitch), I LOVE THIS TEAM! Get punched in the mouth early, but get up and continue to throw punches back for the rest of the game to knock out the Cubs.
  3. Contreras and Yelich make all of us experts look bad in their 2nd AB's. Keep adding on!
  4. Is it bad to ask Contreas to sacrifice every time he comes up with runners on base from now on?
  5. I get that a 26-man move should be easy (sending Siegler down), but what are thoughts about freeing up a 40-man spot for Jansen? One of the IL guys moved to the 60-day? Eric Haase gone?
  6. And of course we can now hear the story again of Rowdy Tellez officiating Jansen's wedding. 😃
  7. I get this sentiment (My son rolls his eyes ever time I say "Vaughn can't keep this up, right?"), but if nothing else I want O'Hearn for those days when Vaughn starts and we need a pinch hitter that isn't Siegler. Brewers currently rank 30th in Slugging & OPS from pinch hitters. 25th in OBP .247/.161/.408
  8. 1st trade in the books as Naylor goes from Arizona to Seattle. Does this help put a price on O'Hearn? (He's the one I've wanted all along)
  9. Is Berroa more than a pinch run option at the major league level?
  10. These are the exact two on my wishlist...and were the same before the Hoskins injury as a replacement for Bauers. The baseball trade values site (taken with a grain of salt) lists O'Hearn at 6.1 Naylor at 3.5 Tobias Myers at 6.0 What's a doable trade with Myers as the starting point?
  11. Andrew Vaughn scheduled to DH today for Nashville and hit third is pinch hit for in the top of the 1st.
  12. Andrew Vaughn pinch hit for in the top of the 1st for Nashville. Heading to Milwaukee for Hoskins?
  13. While I agree with you that this might be "the move", why not Bobby Dalbec instead? .288/.371/.534/.905 with the added flexibility to play 3B along with 1B and corner OF.
  14. I'm ok with Alexander finishing the last couple of innings even if he "tweaks" his back to the point where he needs an IL stint to get Quintana back on the roster tomorrow. 😉
  15. Since he was signed, I've been intrigued by the power potential of Dalbec filling one of the corner spots on the big league roster. I'm not expecting him to come in and magically become an all-star, but when are corners are usually Hoskins, Durbin, Frelick, and Collins adding some occasional thump would be great. If nothing else, having the option as a bench bat with some slug would seem to outweigh what you are getting from Daz Cameron. You're correct that once Mitchell comes back, the roster gets a lot tighter which is why I would make the move now to at least see if Dalbec could get on a hot streak with some playing time.
