    These are the exact two on my wishlist...and were the same before the Hoskins injury as a replacement for Bauers. The baseball trade values site (taken with a grain of salt) lists O'Hearn at 6.1 Naylor at 3.5 Tobias Myers at 6.0 What's a doable trade with Myers as the starting point?

    While I agree with you that this might be "the move", why not Bobby Dalbec instead? .288/.371/.534/.905 with the added flexibility to play 3B along with 1B and corner OF.

    I'm ok with Alexander finishing the last couple of innings even if he "tweaks" his back to the point where he needs an IL stint to get Quintana back on the roster tomorrow. 😉

    Since he was signed, I've been intrigued by the power potential of Dalbec filling one of the corner spots on the big league roster. I'm not expecting him to come in and magically become an all-star, but when are corners are usually Hoskins, Durbin, Frelick, and Collins adding some occasional thump would be great. If nothing else, having the option as a bench bat with some slug would seem to outweigh what you are getting from Daz Cameron. You're correct that once Mitchell comes back, the roster gets a lot tighter which is why I would make the move now to at least see if Dalbec could get on a hot streak with some playing time.

    First, I don't expect Bobby Dalbec to miraculously turn into an All-Star, but with the black hole that is the left side of the infield offensively, I would bring him up right away, give him consistent starts at 3rd base and see if he can get on a hot streak to help the offense. Heck, I would bring him up today to face the LHP of the Guardians to see if Dalbec's lifetime OPS of .788 vs LHP could lead to some runs. Other than EMJ, is there another AAA player that can help with adding some slug to the current team?

    If Black is an option at 3rd (I'm not sure if I believe it or not), go the next step. Is Ernesto Martinez Jr. a realistic option for the backup 1st base spot? For those that have seen him in person, how's his defense at 1st? I know he can do the splits on his stretches to prove his athleticism, but how does his overall defense grade out? Is he good enough to be a late-game defensive replacement for Hoskins?

Lowe would be my 2B/backup 1B with a possibility of more 1B time if Hoskins doesn't show improvement back to career numbers.

    Mead is one of the blocked, former top-100 prospects I've considered as another body for 3B. Not sure what to expect from him as his limited MLB time has not been great.

    I keep coming back to a deal with Toronto as I continually see their abundance of infield depth and need for a closer. While some are concerned about Bohm's defensive shortcomings, how about a deal with Toronto that includes Ernie Clement, a finalist for the Gold Glove at 3rd base this year? A thought (baseballtradevalues numbers in parenthesis)... Brewers send D. Williams (9.1), Elvis Peguero (5.9) and T Black (12.0) Blue Jays send E. Clement (5.9), and S. Horwitz (28.0) Toronto gets their closer, a second bullpen piece and Black, a Canadian that doesn't fit with our defensive lineup Milwaukee gets a defensive 3rd Baseman (that can move to utility if Boeve or Wilken show they are ready sooner rather than later) and a LH 1st baseman to platoon/replace Hoskins in the future. I know some will be disappointed that Devin doesn't bring back a "bigger name", but I really wonder how much he will garner with only 1 year of control remaining.
