  1. Go 1-0 today Brewers, that's all we're asking. Just 1-0. Win it 1-0, win it 20-2 (this would be better), win it with a pie eating contest. I don't care how, just please, please find a way to win.

  3. I forgot to mention that the Brewers are down by 1 at the time of the walkoff, with 2 outs. As awesome as this would be, I don't think I could handle it. Let's just win one easy for a change. They did it the last two nights, I think it's our turn. I think we're going to come out bats ablazing and get a 3-4 in the first couple innings. Just need Yo to work his magic and shut them down.
  4. Accuscore has us winning this game 64% of the time based on it's simulations. Not that it means anything, but it's something to be optimistic about I guess.
  5. It's not so much that we lost the 2 games, it's HOW we lost. They just hammered us. Both games. Our offense was horrid in game 3, better in game 4 but we couldn't drive anyone in. Couldn't get the big hit at any point and we couldn't get out of any innings, giving up 7 runs with 2 outs. Had we lost both games 2-1 or something I'd feel a lot better. Getting destroyed in two of the biggest games of the year leaves something quite different in my mouth right now.
  6. I feel like we're the underdog on Friday. We got destroyed the last two games. Two grand slams and a bunch of other home runs. One of the best pitchers in the league against us. All the pressure on us. I don't see how anyone can feel confident about winning on Friday. Sure, we could win, but I have zero confidence. Yo doesn't bring his A+ game and it's basically over. We wold have been the first NL team ever to lose a NLDS series after being up 2-0 as well.
  7. I just don't have all that much confidence in Yo. I know he's been great lately but he just seems to too many inconsistent games for me to feel really confident in him. All the pressure is on us right now. I'm not at all confident in us to do anything.
  8. How about 5 runs off of Putz here? Crazier things have happened. Just get the tying run up somehow and go from there.
  9. Anyone? Go up 2-0 only to get destroyed in games 3 and 4. Coming home for game 5 against Kennedy. All the momentum on their side now. Seems like we already blew the series and we still have a game to play.
  10. Beast Mode has never been done to anyone but our own dugout/fan. They started doing this snake thing just yesterday. It's a direct taunt and taking it to a whole nother level by direting it towards us. An average start from Wolf tonight and we win this game. Scored six runs and got destroyed. Their offense has rolled for two games. It's hard to imagine it just shutting off that quickly for game 5. Going against Kennedy after getting hammered in back to back games is not ideal. Almost feels like we're the underdog.
  11. If you take out the 2 starters in the season against the Brewers, Collmenter was 8-10 with an ERA over 4. He's definitely hittable we're just dumbfounded by him for whatever reason. Man do I hope we can somehow win tonight. Not feeling very confident in Randy Wolf at this point.
  12. I said this to my wife last night. He has a massive gut. He was never small, but he looks at least 20-30 lbs heavier than when he was here.
  13. The jsonline Brewers section doesn't have highlights up for some reason. Anyone know where I can hear the radio calls from yesterday? Just curious what the roar sounded like during that sixth inning.
  14. It worked last night, but as others had mentioned, had Philly managed to tie it, the Cardinals only had ONE guy left in the pen. It was a long man, but still. He looks great because it happened to work but if they had failed, he would have looked like a donkey.
  15. I think he means that from an attendance perspective, there aren't really that many more people there this past Saturday than every other sell-out they had this year.
  16. This is sort of off topic, but if the are going to continue charging this much to park at games, would it kill them to put some more bathrooms out there? The Molitor lot has about 10 portajohns total....its absurd how long the lines get and that they have that few bathrooms. How much could it really cost to add 5-10 more of them?
  17. I can't cheer for the Cardinals. I'm not sold that they are "easier" to beat in the NLCS than the Phillies either. The Cardinals are hot and did just take 5 of 6 from us pretty easily not that long ago. Be nice to have the series go 5, but I want nothing to do with the Cardinals. If we were to lose to them in the NLCS it would be really tough to stomach.
  18. I was there and it was just nuts in that 6th inning. I think because there wasn't the big blow like a 3 run shot or anything. It was just singles and it happened so fast. You were still amped up about the Hart single, you had no time to relax or catch your breathe and Morgan hits one, then Braun. It was just awesome. And LOUD.
  19. It's not just the playoffs. Saturday night (the day after the clincher), we had a huge tailgate party of about 25-30 people. We were there after the game and had the bike workers (not cops) come up to at 60 minute after the game, then again at 80 minutes after the game. At this point we were winding down on our own and the lot was getting relavitely empty. At 90 minutes after the game, we were literally swarmed by about 5 bike cops, the MP security people and 3 golf carts all within about 2 minutes of each other. They told us if we didn't pack up and leave immediately they would start issuing citations for trespassing and failure to obey a police officer or something like that. They then proceeded to stand there until we packed up and left. It seemed a tad over the top. Considering it was only about 10:15 on a Saturday night too, not 3am. Edit: These were also the Molitor lots off of Bluemound.
  20. Yeah, the NFL is a lot more protective of its audio than MLB is. I did the best with what I could on those Packer ones. It'll take me a bit to put this all together but I'll start working on it next week. Keep posting the moments, I'll start gathering everything.
  21. No, it's fine. Just looking to gather the moments, see what people think. I'm not even sure how this will work out for a baseball one as it's the whole season, not just one game. So we'll see if I even do it but thanks for the help. Keep them coming!
  22. Hey....for those of you that frequent the lambeua leap boards, you may recall that I like to mess around and create slideshows in my spare time. I made one for every Packers playoff game last year. You can watch them here if you'd like (the SB one is the best I think): http://lambeauleap.yuku.com?topic=1471/Playoff-Game-Slideshows I'm considering doing one for the entire 2011 Brewers season. It's a lot harder in baseball though as there are so many games, so many photos, so many moments, etc. I should be able to access radio highlights from virtually any game. You guys think it's worth the time? And if so....I need some help. I watched almost every game this year but a lot of it blurs together. What would be your top ten moments of the Brewers season so far?
  23. The further we go in the playoffs, the more money we make. I fail to see with attendance at an all time high, making the playoffs and selling tons of merchandise how this team didn't make money this year. Seems almost impossible.
  24. I think MLB will try to avoid the NFL (hence the late start times) but they won't avoid a Brewers/Packers conflict. I think they might feel that it would be best to avoid a WI/NE conflict though. If they'd just annouce the times we could stop arguing about it already.
