  1. Ginger liked your tweet?! You've been touched by a baseball angel. Print that tweet. Frame it in gold. Shine a spotlight. Pray. #LetGingerCook
  2. BTW, Brewers 4th rounder, RHP Josh Flores was indeed teammates at Lake Central HS with Adamczewski & one 'I only throw strikes' Griffin Tobias. AND, since we're all active in here it is worth mentioning: Little birdies in the desert shared Saturday was indeed a planned night off for Adamczewski. He is continuing to respond favorably during and post-game. Body is in a good place. I don't know if he'll be playing today and/or tomorrow but, the real good news? He is scheduled to be sent to Carolina to join his Mudcats teammates for the second half push after their All-Star Break.
  3. Man, as a whole? I absolutely adore this day for the Brewers. Hard to complain given the shape of the player pool. Didn't see them heading this way (when do I ever see where they are heading in the draft) but love it.
  4. I think Morrison didn't pitch in 2024 either? Just seems like a young man ready to take off. 107 innings. 2.89 FIP. 25% K rate. Throws a ton of strikes. Only walks 5% of hitters. Seems like a guy with a ton of untapped development in here.
  5. MAN, another pick I LOVE. Man, these last three have me jazzed to the gills. He's 6'8". Unreal curve ball. Has a cutter already in the bag. Developing a change-up, I think? He's a massive man.
  6. I have an absolutely unhealthy and unreasonable crush on Bauer. At this point, it just seems like he isn't signable?
  7. I can. IF we don't sign him we get no replacement next season as this is the pick given back to us from Levonas. I would be entirely unsurprised if we sweeten the deal to keep him in the fold.
  8. Just envisioning the arrival of healthy Woodward, Robinson, Knoth, Broughton and now we add two upside lefties? Drooling?
  9. He's going to be a guy that will also greatly benefit from being with the Brewers. They won't rush him. So they'll likely work on turning that slider into a cutter and differentiating it further from the curveball while dialing in and maximizing the heater. He is a perfect pitcher for our development program imho.
  10. Thompson's best pitch by my eyes is his change-up and it is an awesome pitch. Cairone has major extension. Still 17 yo. Heavy spin. Major velo jump this year - sitting 94-95 mph. Just a lovely young pitching prospect. Jersey Prep wave here we come!
  11. Hard not to love these last two picks. Big time value and upside as well.
  12. Oooooooh love this next pick with a passion.
  13. Longenhagen had Thompson at 25. Law had him at 33. He'll likely come in around that range's value.
  14. I am fully invested in not getting my crush in LHP Jack Bauer. He struggles to throw strikes but Yerlin has prepared for any and all outcomes. I was built for the journey
  15. Yeah I am fairly confident both will go under-slot. AND, I am wondering aloud if this isn't a tactic to lure more upside HS players eventually to battle NIL money?
  16. Confidence is not lacking 😅 Doh! How did you beat me to that post @wiguy94!😄
  17. Yeah, I'm enamored with Bauer and have been for quite awhile but his inability to throw strikes certainly appears to be knocking him further down the boards.
  18. I am not as inspired by the pick. I think he translates as another 1B only guy. BUT, I'm not going to gripe. Plus hit tool. Big personality. Very adept in the clutch. Just don't think he has a chance at the hot corner. I personally feel he's under slot quite easily.
  19. That's a spoiler? I mentioned one name and asked a question. I'll duck out. Have at it. Not trying to spoil anything. Enjoy.
  20. And, Cunningham essentially is the last prep infielder up the middle remaining, yes? We are at the Twins as far as I can tell.
