  1. Muddies had the bases juiced with nobody down. Tyler Rodriguez swung and struck out on a slider in the dirt. Holguin just swung and struck out at a belt high breaking ball. Two down. Fayetteville will bring in a new relief arm. Muddies still lead 5-4.
  2. Well, the Mudcats have plated three here in the fifth. Nobody out as of yet. Bitonti is on 1st. Anderson follows with a first pitch single to CF. Two men on again. Made led things off with a BB, SB, and was driven home via a Payne double to left CF. 5-4 Muddies now.
  3. A classic RHP Jose Nova relief experience. He's had two runners aboard (at least) in both innings. He allowed a two out RBI single in the 4th. Di Turi saved him with a web gem grab for the first out in the 5th. He followed that with a first pitch single to LF. A five pitch walk. And, then threw another wild pick-off throw to 2B into the CF grass. That is now three throwing errors via pick-off moves in the past two series. That runner scored on a sac fly. Nova has stuff. BUT, if you can't control it and you can't throw accurately to the bases that's a tough career path to travel.
  4. I can not get over the post-season implications of swapping out One C Myles Turner for one C Brook Lopez. ALL love to Brook. He is a Bucks legend. BUT, Turner is a starting caliber switchable 4/5 in every series. Brook was played off the court versus nearly all playoff teams. It's such a massive upgrade. I am still mildly in a state of shock. 😅
  5. This is hilarious. I think that's Nicasia with some unbelievably choice cheese names.😅
  6. Just a heads up to any and all, I'm not going to be nearly as active as I typically am on my Report nights. This will be my first Report all season on a Tuesday where I am going to have conflicting scheduling. Easy choice. The priority is my 7-year-old daughter tonight as I help close out her Primitive Skills Camp. Going to be fun!
  7. Sure. It certainly is possible if not likely at some point in the second half. He still has work to do with zonal accuracy - ie the things that will matter most at the MLB level. He hasn't been talked about as much because he is now a known commodity and he just hasn't flashed the same level of dominance at Triple-A in 2025 that he did throughout every stop before Nashville last season. Nashville is definitely his best spot to work through things and fine tune his arsenal at present, imho.
  8. All I have to say is 'Whoa'. That is all. Bucks front court is absolutely LIT. Move Kooz for anything and I don't think even Glenn can screw it up. He has his starting 2 back in Prince. Let's...ummm...roll!
  9. In limited AB, in a position share across the board but learning and playing a new position at Catcher, Jonathan Rangel is having an extremely impressive DSL season. Another two knocks today in a 2-for-3, 1 R, 1 SB performance.
  10. That Hedbert shoulder injury awhile back came as he was bordering on triggering a scorching run. It's a testament to where he is as a player that he is bouncing back to real relevance in such short order from his return. He could become a reliable corner outfielder if he could fine tune and shore up the lackadaisical moments. He has more than enough arm. He just has these inexplicable moments from time-to-time that leave me befuddled. 😅
  11. <Is this thing on?! Mic check. Check 1. Check 2> It isn't official. We have to keep in mind things can change. BUT I am hearing whispers from the land of the Saguaro: -2B Josh Adamczewski is tentatively scheduled to appear in the ACL Brewers line up tonight Let us gather hands and pray...
  12. Trent at a mere $400,000 more than Prince is nuts to me. Incredible value.
  13. And, they just can't help themselves. In a vacuum Prince on a minimum deal is fine - he is an elite shooter. BUT, the context here: another PO and Glenn Rivers is your HC. Glenn likes to view Prince as a starting 2. If this move came with an intelligent HC, I'd be completely neutral. As things stand today, I wish they had moved on. Not a lot of creativity here whatsoever. Don't trust the HC to have any clue of how to properly use this player.
  14. I have to say, I like both these deals for the Bucks of Milwaukee. Bobby was a ridiculously favorable deal (given the Market). I don't like the Player Option but the Bucks almost always sweeten their deals with 'PO's'. Is what it is. This is essentially a 1 year deal. Given KPJ's talent level and what he offers the Bucks in particular, not a lot to dislike regardless at that price.
  15. It appears so! Just posted this in the transaction thread. Romero is spot on with this stuff:
  16. Romero tends to be very much in the know when it comes to the Brewers:
  17. There were a lot of technical issues back then. The internet had just been invented. AI hack swarms. Solar flares. Plastic surgery and surgical implants (popular in fringe sports forums) impacted my fingers for weeks right around the time of the Priester trade, for example. A lot of my "This is really good value!" thoughts turned into two months of doom and gloom. Crazy!
  18. Hats off to old friend RHP Adrian Houser for doing 'Bernie's Work' today in hodling the Giants scoreless. Chi Sox lead those pesky Bay Ballers 1-0 after eight complete.
  19. BUMP ** All negative posts from my account possibly within this thread are retracted. My 7-year-old hacked my account** 🥸
  20. Let the Championship run commence: (Yes, I am aware the account is very much unsourced and this is likely a joke post)
  21. When you watch Seigler play regularly you just learn to really appreciate what he brings. He is a net positive impact across the board. Agreed on the improved defense from 3B - definitely has the arm...it's a bit of a cannon. He brings a scrappiness. He brings immense skill. He brings an upbeat smile to the game. As manager Rick Sweet has now said on more than one occasion: "We call these types of players 'Outdoor Cats'." In other words: Seigler is a born natural old school baseball player.
  22. Currently he's been playing LF over 2B at a 2:1 clip. It certainly appears, early at least, those are his primaries. I have no idea from there. The lack of ACL video, unfortunately, renders these types of questions mysteries. He certainly seems to have a little bit of get up and go in those legs. I think the logical next question might be does he have the arm or movement profile to try 3B? Does he offer anything of note at 1B?
