  1. Just an incredible afternoon by Eduardo Garcia. Legitimate Big Time hits in key key spots. Jheremy Vargas with the crucial tying home run. Key bullpen work. To be a fly in that clubhouse! Best win of the season!

  3. Also, having watched near 3/4 the Wahoo vs Shucker knocks in the early season, I may have to submit a formal declaration to the Marlins: We really would all benefit from a Joey Wiemer and Jerar Encarnacion corner outfield tandem - or, in the very least, when Wiems is manning RF Jerar can man 1B (as he’s done in the past).. They both have absolute cannons for arms. Both are underestimated athletes who have much better rnge than you’d expect, and both prospects can absolutely rake. I essentially feel like my inner 12 yo fan boy holding their baseball cards and trying to manifest an Alliance in the same Brewer clubhouse.?

  5. When I tune in to Nashville games, it is legitimately as close to an extension of a Big League club as you can get. The Brewers have not been this deep on the fringes since I can remember. Ther are so many worthy candidates for a call-up it’s almost unfair. Watching the mic’d up clip there, it’s also very clear these men are comfortable with the game; their games; and each other. Cam Devanney is an early season contender for ‘Most Surprising Player’. The bat has been night and day better since 2021 and you already know you are getting an extremely good glove and arm at the hot corner. I am very excited about his development. Hopefully, we can see a resurgence in play from Zamora, Dillard, Holt and McGee at some point and the team could really start rocking.

  7. It’s uncanny isn’t it? BUT it is literally the exact same thing with the Bucks. They get zero love from the mainstream media outlets. It is what it is.
  8. Long Snapper competition: Thank the Football Gods!? More on Kaye here: (From this Yahoo article: Here)
  9. I'm going through my post-draft highlight ritual to ride the High. Given I'm more excited about this Packer haul than I ever have been post-draft. I'm finding drool-worthy clips and analysis across the board. LOL. Post-pick, Rock Larry McCarren discussed JJ's 'heavy hands'. You see it here: Christian Watson is simply an insane athlete. I said it after the pick. I'll say it again. He's a Unicorn: (Full rep at game speed in thread) And, some Zach Tom love:
  10. Sneaky good UDFA pick up in Goodson. That kid can really play. Always feels refreshing when a Hawkeye grabs the Green and Gold. I see a 9.54 RAS and a legitimate PS stash for a 3 down or receiving RB role (1 drop in 38 targets in 2021).
  11. Tracking UDFA's: Cole Schneider (UCF - IOL) and Caleb Jones (Indiana University - OT); Chauncey Manac (Louisiana - Edge); Tyler Goodson (Iowa - RB); Akial Byers (DT - Missouri); Greg Moore (Oregon - OL); Raleigh Texada (Baylor - CB); Anthony Turner (Grand View - WR); Hauati Pututau (Utah - DL/Edge); BJ Baylor (Oregon State - RB); Keke Chism (Missouri - WR); Ellis Brooks (Penn State - LB); Caliph Brice (Florida Atlantic - LB); Alex Spillum (Coastal Carolina - S); Tre Sterling (Oklahoma State - S); Danny Davis (Sconny - WR)
  12. The plot thickens with Ford. FG Protection which was clearly an issue in 2021. Fascinating.
  13. Toure averaging 19.5 ypc in 2021 at Nebraska and we essentially drafted 3 wideouts who averaged 20 or more ypc in 2021 if I'm not mistaken?
  14. I have to think Scott Nelson may be one of the guys here. He came in for the visit. Had the measure-ables and testing numbers. Seems like a classic flyer guy.
  15. Oh my word. That's, umm, something. LOL.
  16. Drafted as a LB. Interesting and makes a ton of sense.
  17. Oh man. FEEELS. I just love this stuff.
  18. Toure!!!! YESSSSssssss! OMG. I can't take it.
  19. Another youngster missing out on a seriously needed sport change to the Major Leagues. Trenton Gill (NC State, Punter, 7th Rd to the Bears) the Marlins need talent in those lower levels. Let's get on the phone with your reps and start cashing in on those endorsement deals.
  20. I think what I learned more than anything in our draft cycle is we have a legitimate Draft Expert in our midst with @LouisEly. I love the Draft and I study it semi-regularly, but I'm nowhere near the League of Louis. Incredibly good output.
  21. With a name like 'Russ Yeast' I think the young Safety (Kansas State, Rams 7th Rd pick) really missed out on an opportunity to play baseball for the Brewers organization. A sport change is still a possibility. I'm going to reach out to his agent.
  22. Hey, thanks for chiming in! We're all happy to post and glad you found our blather useful. It's a positive environment more than anything which is very refreshing when it comes to Packers draft talk. ?
  23. I really like Isaih Pacheco. Such a likable player. Literally the only Rutgers player that didn't give up versus Wisconsin - played hard and through the whistle to the very end. Such a classic Chiefs pick. I love the way the Ravens and Chiefs draft.
  24. He had a terrrrrrible Pro Day and, then, on more than one occasion, really scared team's off with his lack of self-awareness. He completely sabotaged his career. And, quickly made himself a UDFA candidate more than anything.
