    I really really don't understand how an NFL team in 2023 thinks it's a good idea to trade up for a college kicker. There literally is zero correlation from college performance to the professional game. Just don't do it. Yuck.

    The Eagles are literally the Georgia Bulldogs of the NFL. They get CB Kelee Ringo now too? My goodness. They now have five of the key starters from that vaunted historic 2021 Bulldogs defense. Simply put: that is nuts.

    All 4 current Packers draft picks made Brennen Rupp's 'Unpacking Future Packers' list. Three of the picks were in his top 12 (Van Ness, Kraft, and Musgrave - WR Jayden Reed is his #64). (Really great write-ups of each player in the above linked 'Complete List')

    It's the first time the Packers have ever drafted three pass catchers in the first 3 rounds, I believe? Quite a moment. I'm listening to all the post draft interviews. All of these young men are extremely likable. Thoughtful. They definitely grabbed some fine young humans, it would appear. That's a win in and of itself.

    The 49ers just drafted the first kicker (Moody from Michigan) in the 3rd Round. What in the absolute...huh?! When teams do these things, I have thoughts.

    RIght? Contrary to what manager Joe Ayrault is saying in the post-game interviews the heads hanging and the energy on the field is not what we want to see. Too many dejected looks. Lethargic trots off the diamond into the dugout. The only fire I've seen from that club of late is from the pitching staff - who have been fantastic, btw. The collective field players, tho, are in a proverbial funk.

    Robert Moore and Eduardo Garcia (who appears to be declaring that plate discipline of a week or so back was an apparition) with 3 K's apiece. Man, Moore has fallen off a cliff. Hope he can get back swinging confidently and with purpose in the near future.

    I absolutely love the SS Freddy Zamora bounce back feel good season going on in Biloxi. So wonderful to see him healthy and producing. Huge development in 2023.

    Achane going to Miami is silly. There is SO much speed in that offense. How did the NFL let that happen?! 😂 He was an All-American Track and Field guy in HS and he qualifies for the Olympic 200M where he runs a 20.20. Nuts. He also can catch the heck out of the ball out of the backfield or in the slot. Mike McDaniel is giddy.

    I think the smartest thing to do here is trade out into the fourth then trade up to get back into the 4th again 😅. Unless, of course, I love the pick. If I love the pick, the curse is lifted.
