  1. Jacob Morley has been all over this wide out for a couple months. Pretty much his guy. One of 5 that met the Packer Report draftable criteria for the Packers. Very exciting pick for the WR room.
  2. OK. Dontavius Wicks is a very sneaky good pick. I'm back on board!
  3. Redeem yourselves, please, oh mighty Packers.
  4. We're two picks out. Let's make it a great one so I can move on from scratching my head.
  5. Yes. He has plus qualities of a QB, for sure. He has very good pocket presence. He senses pressure. But, man, his accuracy is all over the place and he just doesn't have the arm strength. He seemed like a classic priority UDFA or late 7th round flier. Obviously, the staff loved what they experienced during the visit. We'll just have to see where it ends up.
  6. I keep seeing Clifford upside comps of Tyler Hoenicke. IF that is what the Packers got there (and, that's a big IF), I'm completely fine with it. I still don't like the pick. But, we have another pick upcoming and I am going to erase it from my memory.😅
  7. I'm with you here. The first pick where I legitimately went 'Huh?!'. BUT, we have all the picks we need and they obviously saw what they liked. AND, if we're complaining about a back-up QB in the 5th as our weak link we can take it. I just have a problem with the fact he'll be 25 - so he's already an Old. AND, I personally don't see him as anything more than a 3rd string NFL caliber QB despite his accolades at PSU.
  8. This feels like a classic Rd 3 TT pick where you are left scratching your head. 😂
  9. This is the first pick I don't really understand at all. Weird pick.
  10. Come on, T-Rats. Turn the tide. Get out of the funk. You've lost several extremely close games to Beloit. Tighten up the defense, heads up and disciplined at the plate. Go get 'em.
  11. Abanikanda in the 5th round feels like the Jets best pick in their draft. He doesn't turn 21 until October. That's a ball of clay to develop in their backfield.
  12. Well, this is interesting: So, it would appear they view him strictly inside or, in the least, that's where they want him to start out.
  13. I don't know if I can remember a draft that has this amount of trade movement during the 3rd day of draft. The Packers 159th pick has moved four times already (including their acquisition). That seems bananas.
  14. I can accommodate your request. No problemo. I'll try and split them into two posts in the future for you.
  15. I am sitting here a bit incredulous that Gutey and his staff really might hodl and use all these picks. That is wild. It would validate what he said last night, tho, in that they love competition in their roster. With a super young team, it might be just what they're after.
  16. I always focus on the positives of Packers draft picks first. I let the negatives, so to speak, show themselves when they actually play a meaningful NFL snap. To your point, however, he has negatives for sure. He's smaller - though, he does have 195 lbs which is 35 lbs heavier than when he first played at Western Michigan. He's not going to win in his cuts or as the route changes ie double moves - ie he's a bit stiff and those double moves tend to run flat as opposed to sharp. But, he's not going to need to go Outside so I personally don't worry about this. Can he? Sure. But, that's not using him effectively. He should play 80% in the slot, imho. Where he'll win in the slot is with his strength, aggression, catch point etc. He doesn't have anywhere near the agility in those slot routes like a JSN. He just doesn't have that in-route wiggle. But, because of his return prowess, he still know how to make guys miss. Anyhow, take it or leave it. It makes no difference to me.
  17. Goodness I continue to love the Steelers draft. Nick Herbig is such a Steeler. Happy for him.
  18. I think Reed is really going to surprise you. Time will tell, obviously. But, he's a guy in the slot who is going to win to the catch point; has the PR wiggle and lateral agility to make guys miss; and has legit breakaway potential. The Packers had him timed at 4.37, btw. I have to think they see this is a much better player than Amari Rogers - well, because, he is a much better NFL football level prospect than Amari ever was.
  19. WOW. Man, the Eagles are clearly the cream of the crop in the NFC. The Cowboys must be weeping.😅
  20. I agree with and endorse this. Pretty much exactly how I feel. A Kingsley Keke who actually has the right head on his shoulders is one of the first things I thought after this selection.
  21. ** Check out that Kenny Clark-esque interior swim and sprint move in this last clip. Fun player.
  22. He's actually very good versus the run because they moved him inside and outside for run downs where he uses his tools really well: (Full PFN scouting report HERE)
  23. They absolutely need Interior disruptor depth. I love the pick. He's a versatile heady football player with violent hands. He had a 9.27 RAS for a DT. This is a D-Line depth piece. You can never have enough depth there and, I'll go a step further: He's better today than Dean Lowry. (I don't know if that means anything but take that Dean!)
  24. DL Colby Wooden. Skilled guy. Violent disengagement with those hands. He can contribute right away as a D-Line rotational player. They'll list him as an Edge. To me, this is a hands down D-Line depth piece.
  25. Packers are on the clock. Let's GO!
