  1. I hate it when our pick approaches. I only anticipate pain.
  2. They're going to grab Jalen Carter because they only want dominant DL. That will be NUTS. Pair him with his former teammate too and all those Edge rushers? Wild.
  3. Oh boy. Eagles and Bears swap is being whispered about. Man, the Iggles getting Jalen Carter would be SO Eagles. Ugh.
  4. Devil's Advocate: They also got a pick back in the 80's AND got Houston's 2024 1st.
  5. Man a major character issue in Carter in a city like Chicago just feels like an epic epic bust waiting to happen. They were rumored to want him before all the hoopla and stuff outside of football.
  6. I mentioned BIjan Robinson to ATL earlier (in the wrong thread). Makes a ton of sense. NOW, it certainly seems like the Bears could go big big boom or bust and go for Jalen Carter (who they were rumored to want at 1 before the trade).
  7. Thanks for the heads up @PeaveyFury
  8. LOL. I was wondering why I was posting to myself.
  9. Wow, Seahawks grab Witherspoon. There must have been tears in the Lions draft room!
  10. Anthony Richardson goes to Indy. Nice. That will be fun to watch.
  11. It's looking more and more like RB Bijan Robinson is going to Atlanta in the Top 10.
  12. There are substantiated rumors/whispers, fwiw, that if Seattle moves down they may be targeting Van Ness and he is a player the Eagles covet. I think NFL teams see a guy with all the tools and size and he can get stronger in their weight rooms. Personally, I think the Eagles may be targeting if those top Tackles go and they can't trade up. IF they trade up, I imagine the Iggles - given the contract to Hurts and given how Roseman works - would be targeting a top Tackle.
  13. Apparently, Seattle has been getting calls all afternoon from the Titans and the Iggles to move up to their 5th spot. That's interesting.
  14. Whispers are there are major concerns re: Edge Tyree Wilson's medicals. Both feet. And a back issue. IF he falls past Seattle, we know the medicals are more worrisome for more teams than anticipated. The obvious add-on here is who benefits most from this should he fall? CJ Stroud Will Anderson Parison Johnson Jr. Jalen Carter (?) Apparently, CJ Stroud is now the odds on favorite to go #2
  15. Yes. They. Can. Keep dreaming, my friend. Love it.
  16. Best of luck to all our affiliates tonight! I will be doing my annual NFL Draft cook-off man cave extravaganza. Here's hoping we get some victories and some fabulous performances.
  17. Well, that's interesting. Van Ness not one of them really surprises me.
  18. What am I missing here? Having discussions doesn't mean anything until they are actually serious discussions. As of now it's a rumor they've talked. Is this substantial?
  19. We just might be in for one of the wildest first rounds in quite some time (or ever, er merrr gerd). OR, this is all hogwash and it is cookie cutter. It's pandemonium!
  20. @LouisEly^^ You salty dog, You! Daniel Jeremiah also has us taking TE Dalton Kincaid and he typically seems to have some idea of what the Packers might do.
  21. Even better! 😅
  22. I believe alongside TE and CB you would toss in Edge. This is a very good Edge group. Agreed on the OL/WR comments though. The depth is just not there. With WR, it seems like there are many shorter gadget guys but not a lot of perimeter guys that are highly thought of.
  23. I think it's in reference to a Pelissero tweet that mentioned A-Rod and the Packers were redoing the contract and it would benefit the Packers.
  24. If they are indeed moving on from Bud, Nick Nurse is the obvious replacement candidate. The Bucks are too old and too slow with a marvelous but very flawed superstar. It will be an interesting off-season that is for certain. All the signs of the potential for this type of collapse have been there the entire season. The Bucks rarely performed well against the better teams. Way too many absolute wallopings. No real PG play to speak of. Anyhow, I'm entirely unsurprised and stand firmly in my own truth: I never expected the Bucks to win a Chip in my lifetime. I lived through the Kohl years. Everything is gravy post-Chip. This was reminiscent of every Packers heartbreak but I just don't invest myself too deeply in either team any longer. I feel for the fans who are crushed, however. I've been there many times as a younger person and it was painful.
