  1. One call ... that's all! Hopefully, they're just very small and relatively unnoticed like the NBA jerseys. I could see a small sticker and a small patch?
  2. LOL. Jeebus, I thought that was a real thing for a moment.
  3. Those Nay Voters realllllly stepped up and played their inherent role as card-carrying members of the Imperial Empire. Would we really want it any other way?
  4. SO, I'm seeing COVID protocols are scrapped. 9 Inning double headers return and the 'Ghost Runner' provision was scrapped - standard extra innings rules. Curious to see what other surprises are in store. Rule 5 Draft officially scratched for this season.
  5. Is there a better month in Sports? I really don't know. Things are about to get spicy. So pumped!
  6. So, ?: Will Free Agency start like tonight?!? Whoa. Things are going to start happening super quick. I'm excite!
  7. And it was a fine day, March 10th of 2022. There was a wind up and a pitch and batters in a batter's box. The robins returned and spring was in the air. Baseball is back baby! YESSSSssssss. Give me some Admiral Adames and let's friggin' go.
  8. Honestly, everyone knew he was strong as all get out. Those agility numbers, though, probably made him a lot of money. Interestingly, a lot of talk post Bucky Pro Day was in the secondary: (Full read here: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/wisconsin-pro-day-2022-faion-hicks-steals-show/)
  9. Indeed. Brook is traveling with the team on their Western road trip upcoming. He continues to ramp up 5 v 5. I think he might just start building up his legs and game shape here by month's end.
  10. Honestly, that's why a Love trade for them makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't spend tens of millions of dollars on ANY of the FA QBs and expect them to be better than Wentz. First thing I thought post-trade: THAT is an ideal Love destination.
  11. And over in the Big Apple, the Giants can celebrate the possible signing Mitch Trubisky and engaging talks with Blake Martinez. Perspective for us spoiled Packers fans really matters. LOL.
  12. I'm just going to keep beating this drum: I don't believe there is a better talent evaluator and personnel guy in the entire NFL draft process than the great Tony Pauline. I've been following him for years. And, he just keeps delivering. Great video podcast here with Eric Crocker re: post-Combine fall-out for players. They even go position by position after discussing several key takeaways: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhAFg2wXIDI
  13. LOL. Oh man...one of the plus sides of this MLB lockout is I literally have not spent one second thinking about the demise of Yelich. Man, what a tragic fall from the Peak. That knee injury - which probably led to the back injury - just wrecked him. What a terrible turn of events for the Brewers and, consequently, us as fans.
  14. Now I turn my off-season attention to: MVS, Lazard, Campbell, Rasul, and P. Smith. How do those dominoes fall? We are also rumored to be interested in Von Miller and Nwosu? Going to be a wild wild ride this off-season.
  15. I still find A Rod incredibly easy to root for. He's back-to-back MVP's. Most of the hoopla surrounding him has been entirely driven by the Media and then overreaction. He literally just tweeted out pointing out the reports today are inaccurate. He is constantly gaslighted. And, through it all, he's been a super chill guy. I don't understand all the negativity tossed his way. I really don't. He's a guy who has repeatedly out-performed every contract. His only downfall has been losing some big games with questionable decisions in Key moments. Other than that, the guy has been a model Packer and a guy who has done absolutely nothing other than shower praise on the State of Wisconsin. Also, Giannis is just a one in a Billion athlete and person. That's literally finding the needle in the proverbial haystack. EDIT to Add: I should also be clear, I have been 100% in the camp of 'Whatever happens with the A Rod situation, I'll support it.' I really just didn't care which way it went as I saw rationale and reasons behind whatever was the chosen path. Happy to see it moving to the next phase.
  16. It's a beautiful thing watching Seattle slowly fall apart because they prioritized Pete Carroll and his 'Program' over building an Offensive Line around an incredible qb. Wild times. The team the city of Seattle deserves if you ask me.
  17. Roughly. The Packers trade would have been slightly richer I have to imagine - 2 consecutive MVP's and all and the recency bias of Brady's stellar play...and Russ hasn't been his best Russ consistently in over 1.5 seasons.
  18. I like me some Shelby Harris. Personally, I think Drew Lock is a nice back-up and nothing more. Will definitely be interesting to see the picks. Two 1sts, Two 2nds and a 5th along with Harris, Lock and Noah Fant for Wilson and a 4th That seems insane. Wow, Fant too? Noooice. That's an interesting trade. It's too bad the Seahawks can't draft or I'd like it even more. LOL.
  19. My guess is a 2nd round pick. Not even close at best 3rd round pick and realistically it would be a late 4th or 5th round pick. Love hasn’t really shown anything he is worth more than a 3rd round pick. We shall see, my friend. We shall see. We just don't know. Heck, the Packers may not even be looking to trade him. We just don't know.
  20. Considering the haul the Broncos are giving up for Russell Wilson, and the lack of perceived talent in this year's draft class, a 2nd wouldn't surprise me in the least. Exactly. And, honestly, it would be an incredible Save on an insurance play when their WR's disappeared in the Love draft. IF they were able to recoup a 2nd in this year's draft that's just a huge Win.
  21. I like me some Shelby Harris. Personally, I think Drew Lock is a nice back-up and nothing more. Will definitely be interesting to see the picks.
  22. 100%. Makes way more sense and, honestly, it was the first think I thought after the A-Rod news: "Sure seems like Russ is a great option for Denver." Denver fans have to be tickled pink.
  23. Russell Wilson to Denver. Blockbuster trade you say? Today is awesome. That is all. LOL. Congrats to Hackett! He got a top-tier qb to play with with plenty left in the gas tank.
  24. You may be right. BUT, it doesn't really matter what we think I guess. Those working in the NFL seem to think a 2nd? I guess time will tell, eh?
  25. Absolutely. They are playing better basketball when it matters. This bodes well in the Post-Season. Clutch moments are what matters. Not the runs that inevitably happen throughout quarters 1-4. The 3rd quarter foibles are obviously a concern. Their defensive drop off once the Starters are off the court obviously a concern. With BroLo working his way back, one hopes they are trending in a meaningful direction with the final parts of the regular season upon us. I would also say, it was nice to see Ibaka show he has something in the Tank. We could reallllly use some more glimpses of that.
