  1. My guess is a 2nd round pick. Numerous scouts around the NFL agree with you. A 2nd rounder seems to be the overwhelming majority of opinion. If I'm the Pack, I take that and run with it. This is an extremely important draft to grab as much young reasonably priced contracts as you can. Kurt Benkert, imho, is more than enough to work with as a clear Back-Up.
  2. Let the Off Season truly begin. Always love this time of year in the NFL. News around every corner. Excited A Rod is going to, most likely, retire a Packer. This is a good thing.
  3. There is no Era where Dad jokes don't reign supreme. Well done!
  4. I don't know if there is a better NCAA basketball moment in the history of the game than a Coach K humiliating loss at his last home game to UNC...and then a post-game Coach K celebration goes on as planned and he literally tells the crowd to be quiet to explain they had a good season. The only thing better would be for the Badgers to end his career in the tourney just like they ended Roy Williams' career in the tourney last year. Badgers, Marquette, Princeton...pick the poison. A Coach K loss. Tighter puckered lips AND a retirement? Glory be.
  5. As a relatively new poster, tho long-time lurker, I'll sit back and observe the transition/changes/etc. Congrats on your acquisition.
  6. And Aaron Rodgers is vaccinated... Right? What does this have to do with pontificating and theorizing possible Rodgers trade scenarios and rumors? Color me vexed.

  8. More importantly, Brook is cleared for full contact 5 on 5 practices. Bud mentioned using the Herd to help Him get scrimmages in to ramp up his activity. This is all a very good first step.
  9. More Packers-specific intel from PFN's Tony Pauline, draft and NFL Insider extraordinaire: Full read here: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-free-agency-news-and-rumors-new-deal-for-preston-smith-and-who-do-the-broncos-want-as-starting-qb
  10. Jrue quiets my fears. He had an incredibly poised night. I question why we weren't trapping the perimeter earlier but, hey, a win is a win. I can't stand the Heat and 'Heat Culture' nonsense. Great win.
  11. Interesting Packers Combine News:
  12. Why is it that every NHL season I know my destiny is looking forward to the Minnesota Wild heading toward an inevitable decline in play as the season starts to matter most? It's nearly every season. They appear to be back in another classic stretch of losses. Bummer.
  13. Absolutely. A lot to like with what Bembry and Carter are bringing defensively. We absolutely need that intensity and, well, we just haven't had it for a majority of the season. Our defense, minus the Brook Maester, has been woeful. Hopefully, and this is really just hope, George Hill can get healthy; Pat comes back; Wes doesn't fall apart; and we get the Bonus Round of a fully healthy Brook Lopez.
  14. Congrats Bucky fans! Gotta feel oh so good given where they predicted the Badger would finish. Excited to see what happens from here.
  15. Just here to shill ATOM and Cosmos again. LOL. Osmosis Zone opened 25% Superfluid Staking today. This is literally the only project in all of crypto affording this type of access in DeFi. So, we pair ATOM/OSMO in a 74% APR liquidity pool. AND, then, you can stake 25% of your 50/50 split of Osmo (currently) into a Validator staking pool. In other words, a 99% payout in OSMO. The interface, the offerings, etc. they just continue to blow me away. Osmosis Zone is incredible. Then, if one was so fancied, they could take any aspect of the reward and stake it in Osmo on a standard Validator interface (80% APR currently and maintain governance votes). Both are afforded AirDrop liquidity status. This summer, Quicksilver Zone is launching. I'm all aboard that train. Carry on, gents. Carry on.
  16. Giannis finished 14-14. The best part of it is the Bucks were hitting 100%...then the scrubs came in and their deep backup rookie PG Wiggington misses 3 of 4. LOL. I'll say this: Jevon Carter may not be able to hit the broadside of a barn from the floor BUT his defense is incredible on the Pick action. He is amazing fighting over the screen. AND, his FT's are butter. Literal butter. Beautiful looking FT's tonight... That's all I got.
  17. Sorry, I wasn't knocking your post. I was at Acme Packing Co earlier before reading your post. No worries mahn. I didn't take it as a 'knock' per se. All good. The bold, however, seemed like a deft 'professional' touch. Some refinement to my otherwise meaningless thoughts.
  18. It is very good. BUT, and this is a post-washing my eyes of what I saw last night 'BUT', they have a very tough stretch of games coming up. We shall see. What I saw from Jrue last night, honestly, was embarrassing. And, an addendum: I love Holiday. Always have. BUT, those turnovers last night? Are you kidding me? Those were beyond careless...What do we make of that? I don't know. Then, we have our starting PG just tanking at the FT line to boot in the closing minutes? Shooting 75% on the season? That's a mere 3% better than Giannis. I am worried about Jrue. There, I said it. I mean, I expect Midds to have incredibly head-scratching bouts of mindless and lazy turnovers. It's been who he is for years. BUT, I also know come clutch time he has it in him. He's shown that at the highest level under the brightest lights - AND, it was pretty clear, last night at least, he was NOT getting a whistle whatsoever (shocking, a Buck not getting a whistle). BUT, with Jrue, he really struggled for a lot of last year's Playoffs and I think we got a couple absolutely crucial performances (Amen!) in key games or moments that cleansed our eyes of what we saw. SO, I just go back to: I'm worried about Jrue.
  19. Goodness yes. Inexplicable turnovers from your starting PG. 4-8 from the FT line. Just careless, sloppy, brainless TO's - they were just terrible. A truly cringe-worthy performance, tho, from the entire squad. Giannis most definitely included - a key 2 FT shank series late in the 4th and brainless TO's as well as Midds in the 3rd. That 3rd quarter run of defense was hard to believe. They looked like a pre-season team playing the bench guys in how poor they were at understanding the pick and roll responsibilities. At this point, it is unreasonable to anticipate Brook coming back super healthy and things magically fall into place. I just don't see it with this team as they are currently constructed. I think it is entirely fair to say the Bucks are not a better team than the current version of the Heat, Sixers, Bulls, or Celtics. They just aren't. NOW, this all being said, and as I referenced to earlier: lotta season left. They defied the odds last post-season. I just don't see that unexpected luck carrying them now. Also: it sucks to say it but Ibaka is washed. Man, I was really hoping there was still some gas in the tank as I didn't think DDV was a very good player regardless. What I've seen since he's arrived? He's washed. A real bummer. That injury last season clearly took its toll and, unfortunately, he's on the wrong side of the age spectrum to anticipate a recovery in the next year or two.
  20. There is 2 minutes left in this game. And, if the Bucks lose - a very real possibility - they can blame their inexplicable turnovers and their ridiculously bad FT shooting. They've missed 9. Just unreal performance.
  21. This Bucks 3rd qtr performance is vomit-inducing. There are no words to define the lackadaisical effort on defense giving up wide open back door cuts and the sloppy careless turnovers. It's gross, frankly. They continue to play like a team in disarray. They continue to play for the Play-In game. This is not an elite EC team at present. Pains me to say it, but, they haven't been since they got their clocks cleaned in Phoenix. Lotta season left...not looking good at present.
  22. I just have to say: Kyrie Irving is an artist with the basketball in his hands. The move he just pulled off and the straight buttah nothing but net jumper he hit to close the half in Milwaukee - not to mention the insane level of difficulty on about 4-6 other straight net jumpers he hit in the 2nd quarter...the man is a basketball savant. He 'should' have been listed in the top 75 of all time in my estimation. When this young man is hitting, with his artistry and athleticism and his uncanny ball-handling and shot-making ability, it is literally un-stoppable. It is just a pleasure to watch. Let me also just say: The Eastern Conference Playoffs have the makings to be an absolute Bloodbath. 1-10 I wouldn't want to face a single One of these squads in a 7 game series. An insane amount of balance.
  23. George Hill out at least another week. Good grief G. Hill is literally an injury waiting to happen. Tyreke Evans looking trim and in shape and wants another crack in the League now that his suspension was lifted. He is trying out with the Bucks this weekend. Bucks desperately need another viable ball handler with the ability to create their own. IF, and it’s a big ‘IF’, Tyreke is indeed as healthy and in-shape as his recent workout vids suggest that’s a lotto pick off the scrap heap. He’s always had the talent and at 6’6” he has the size, is a decent enough defender, and can handle the rock let alone get to the FT Line. He probably gets a better whistle, today, than refs have ever given Giannis.
  24. I have 2 major disappointments this Brewers off-season: (1) The Lock-Out (2) Joey Weimer's haircut.
  25. He isn’t wrong ***I might be biased
