  1. Me as well. Tho, maybe what they are hinting at here is all Starters will make the Bullpen? Interesting development for sure. Maybe they are going to go entirely match-up and short-leash based in Game 3? If they are ... it didn't work To be clear: I mean Game 3 of the NLDS. LOL. Not Miguel Sanchez coming in here.

  3. Urias with a 23 dinger 70 some rbi season is about the most pleasant development I could ask for this season. If I pair that to the acquisition and performance of Adames and the developments of Lauer and Houser this season was a MAJOR major success. I'll take that to the bank. Anything else I get after the regular season is over is just Gravy for me.
  4. Well, how about that. Sigh. Hope he has some success.
  5. I value stuff over experience. I'd rather have Ashby move into Williams setup than Boxberger move up or Strickland. Let’s give him that role in these final games and see if the youngster can take it. Game 1 down in St. Louis and he looked nastayyyy.
  6. Thanks for sharing that brief clip w Stearns and Devin. I would say more than anything, both Stearns and Devin looked very disappointed and dejected. They’ve both worked extremely hard to get to this point and they both see how this impacts the ball club. Stearns in his always levelheaded approach summed it up best: If we were all judged by our lowest moments we probably wouldn’t like what we saw. Bummed for everyone - fans most definitely included. Ugh.
  7. Man, this just stinks. Couns will have to work some Magic. Guys will have to step up. Devin, just wow. He’s going to have a period of time to contemplate this One. You have to be reallly sauced and really agitated to go an do himself and the team like that. I hope he gets the care he needs in every facet.
  8. What in the colossal…WHY?!? Come home to a punched gut. This is such a huge huge blow to the entire team. I have no words for the stupidity involved. I agree with others on a trade and now other teams know he is in hot water so I imagine they’ll leverage the situation.
  9. The Buckaroos just signed JOB to a camp deal. This one had me all sorts of 'Wuh?!'. LOL. They are really reshuffling the end of the roster.
  10. Man, this would have been an incredible get. Reynolds is really really good. Absolutely dangerous player...stuck on the Bucs roster.
  11. Just watched 'Pig'. I highly recommend. For a first film...it was incredibly touching, poignant, and impactful for me. Viva the good Nick Cage.
  12. Just finished "La Casa de Papel" (for some inexplicable reason Netflix has translated this to 'Money Heist'...literal translation is "House of Paper" which is more appropriate for the nature and meaning of the show. I digress). As a traveler abroad in many a Spanish speaking country...I enjoyed it thoroughly. I watched the entired of the first 5 seasons in the Euro Spanish w English subtitles. I really enjoyed it. I found myself really loving the characters. Apparently, the show has a huge international following. If you like action, fast-paced, dramatic, etc. you may enjoy the show.
  13. LOL. She certainly does eh? For reference sake, this is the historical overlay of 2013 to this current Market...the past does absolutely not mandate the Future BUT when Q1-Q3 is almost precisely exact...I tend to lean into Q4 will most likely abide. This Q4, starting sometime in October could be very VERY explosive EDIT to add: We know Institutions have been accumulating significant quantities of BTC since the recent consolidation at $29-30k. AND, we know they have continued to buy in the $40-45k range. IF, this does indeed prophesize (it certainly doesn't have to), I am wondering what form of Fundy they will use to explain this. In my eyes, as a chart maker and reader, it is already priced in. I just want to know the excuse the Market Makers will use.
  14. Not according to your link. It has the Brewers at 11.4% (fourth best behind Dodgers, Astros and White Sox) and the Braves are at 7.1%. How are we sitting behind the White Sox?
  15. Sorry, but is the bolded part in response to a particular post? Maybe if we can define the question we can work on a response. Honestly, I feel like you want to just come out and say something. What is your main point in this post? Sorry Bruce, I hadn't checked this thread in awhile. It was made in response to the 2 posts in succession directly above mine...BUT, take it with a grain of salt. I find my financial Markets opinions, tho steeped in Practice, are often whimsical and 'priced in' like a chart 'reacting' to the Fundy from the Squawk Box. There is nothing to be over-confident about in the Markets...most especially, individual opinions. I wasn't expressly meaning to just say something, I was actually referencing those posts - perhaps, before I understood the nature of the 'Quote' options in these Forums?
  16. What's different in this space is the nature of the nature of the given project 'codes' and 'algorithms'. Ethereum runs on Eth-Hash...whereas Internet Computer is operating with 'Motoko'. What we are seeing, in the space, however, is the various sectors emerging. For example, ATOM has experienced tremendous growth as its IBC project is gaining traction AS the NFT sector booms. ATOM's IBC allows cross-bridge seamless communication among the various blockchains. In a way, then, this is a unique version of what you are referencing above.
  17. This didn't age well! Historically speaking, in the BTC bull runs of the type we currently witnessed in 2020-21, when China FUD comes out (and, this past week was probably its worst FUD to date) it means we are due for a Bullish stretch. Historical stock to flow models also indicate we are not at the Top of this cycle. Historically, September has been a disappointing month followed by more positive months in October and November. All this being said, the only thing we can really declare at present is: We closed the Bitcoin weekly chart (broad Market implications speaking here) above $42,000. In the very near-term we are still being Supported by the Bulls. However, we are still in a very very precarious position that could go either way. We have Support Levels at $37-38k and $40 and $42 k. We have resistance Levels at $45k and $50k. We are in the epitome of a Box. These are very tricky places to feel comfortable. The only small bit of confidence I have for a bigger Upside push and new ATH's down the mid-term road is the behavior of the Alt coins among aforementioned historicals. They have been in their own little Bull Market since the BTC push off of $29ish k. They haven't over reacted to BTC behavior in this $40-50k range. They are showing strength. My general 'belief' a Deeper correction is still possible and explainable is a set of Futures Gaps at roughly $18k and $25k and The Weekly 200MA sitting right around $15,700. Both scenarios are possible. This is known as 'Don't take a trade here' territory. I mean, it's hilarious, as I 'talk' this out loud myself I am reminded the Crypto trading hamster has outperformed Buffett and the S&P 500 since early June. It all makes sense. LOL.
  18. EVERY time I see Sobotka's name I am instantly brought to a Baltimore port...and the Wire. He is type-cast.
  19. A 2-0 deficit feels yuck BUT the Crew are just a much better road team this season - for whatever reason - so given either scenario I would feel even keeled.
  20. I'm trying to figure this out on gameday, what happened? 1st and 2nd one out. Batter hits pop up and infield fly rule called. Arenado falls down. Ball lands fair. Cubs runners not understanding infield fly rule take off. Arenado throws to third but fielder doesn’t realize there’s no force and just steps on bag and throws to second where fielder does same thing. So, runners are safe at second and third, but runner on second thinks he’s out and steps off and is tagged. Umps rule time was called so runner couldn’t be tagged out. So, play continues with runners on second and third and two out. Wild. Happ strikes out to end game. This is amazing and indicative of the luck involved in this improbable St Louis run. Time to end it.
  21. I’m just glad we aren’t going on the road to close out the season vs the AL Central.
  22. A hat tip to Mr. Escobar who managed to break his mini-slump with 2 HUGE 2rbi singles this series.
  23. LET’S GO!!!!! Unbelievable. Let’s end that St. Louis streak and keep the good times rolling!
  24. Let’s go, Josh. Let’s take this Division. Then, let’s take the series in St. Louis and validate our far superior Road record.
  25. Yeah Baby. We are SO close. Tomorrow, we sweep and everyone goes shirts out baby.
