  1. I can definitely say, after this absolutely choice nugget:
  2. Very reasonable take. I just wish his fastball played better. Because it doesn't, and because I just haven't seen the type of jump I was hoping to see this past off-season (I personally think he's plateau'd since first arriving at Nashville - we could even argue he's regressed), I've also soured quite a but on 2025 Craig.
  3. We loved (and still love) Jadher. He's a fantastic baseball player. But, keep in mind this is the running average expense the Brewers have for players they don't covet as highly within their own organizational metrics. Jadher is a smaller guy with some reasonable concerns when it comes to his swing decisions and mechanics. Jadher's defense will likely always be elite. Even I have major questions about how his swing will translate as the pitching challenges intensify. This trade very much reminds me of the Tristan Peters trade to SF tho we get a better caliber of player back given the better prospect being sent out.
  4. I absolutely Love Jadher - this is known. AND, I am very happy for Jadher to get a meaningful opportunity. Good insurance move for the Crew. This is a roster upgrade. And one of my favorite players heads to a good situation. Win:Win.
  5. Wait. The Crew signed all but, what, 4-5 draft picks? And people are upset?!?! I really wanted Cadiz. Nothing you can do, however, when a kid wants to pursue their collegiate dream. I wish them all great luck.
  6. We in Camp Cadiz must remain steadfast and strong. Kid just wants to ball any chance he gets. Absolute mash potatoes served up with his Walla Walla Sweets.
  7. 'Hitting Lab' is just being silly my friend. It's a joke.
  8. Oh my friend I know the numbers. I know the glaring flaw. Still truly enjoy watching the player. I appreciate he swings for the fence in every AB 😅. Defensively he just has more than Kesty ever had. Hence, I enjoy him more because he has some semblance of a glove and has meaningful size for the corners...in addition to absolutely being a mashman prophecy.
  9. That's what they said about Vaughn before he entered the Brewers 'Hitting Lab'. I do like Dalbec quite a bit more than I ever liked Hiura but I get your very valid point given the history.
  10. Second two-run shot in nearly identical pull spots on the series. The man has muscle.
  11. All Bobby does is capital MASH. Muh MAN! I will die on the Dalbec Hill. 😅
  12. @biedergb: Cover your eyes. A one out fielding error by Pratt in the ninth was followed by a two-run jack off LHP Brian Fitzpatrick. Shuckers lose 3-2 after they took the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 8th. Hurt me! Pratt even had a redemption opportunity with two on and two down in the bottom half. He flew out to RF.
  13. If we remember back to last week, Payne was hit on the head running to third base during what turned into a double steal in the bottom of the 1st inning (Peña had walked) on July 25th. It was a pick-off attempt back to 2B. Payne opened the first inning with an oppo single through the left side of the infield .extending his on base streak to 15 games. After Made K'd swinging, Payne stole 2B on a 2-0 count to Peña. In a 1-0 count to Bitonti the play in question happened: 1:09:55 on the replay. We didn't get a good look live as the camera was late to cut over but it was certainly concerning as Payne very clearly was shook - he was stumbling and falling to the dirt as he tried to get up. Both trainers came out and he was pulled after a two minute delay. The hope here is it was just a head jostling mild concussion. The concern is a possible skull fracture.
  14. Mike Boeve shelved for a multi-week absence you say? Isn't that an annual tradition at this point? Tis why he sadly left my arbitrarily weekly changing Top 20 List. If he can't stay healthy (and can't play defense at this point in time) that lack of availability impacts his reputation and status. Sadly, the same can be said for EBJ despite a better start to 2025. These two talented young men have earned that unsavory label of 'injury prone' as Brewers. It obviously isn't their fault but it definitely is what it is.
  15. I would love adding Cadiz's ascending young bat at the hot corner to add into the position player mix.
  16. Despite the Muddies Extras loss, I do need to point out: RHP Jose Nova's third straight electric relief outing. Yes, Manfred's Man scored. Yet: 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 3 K, 1 R (Unearned Manfred).
  17. Kuehner has definitely been on a heater. He also became the first pitcher in the Southern League to reach 100 K's on the 2025 season during last night's performance. He's very good at throwing the baseball past bats.
  18. Ummm, you are generally correct here but...this also happened earlier in the game:
