    This is the one part of the renovations/upgrades that sound pretty legitimate. But of course we know MLB and the Brewers are going to ask for a lot of other things that assuredly aren't as legitimate.

    Woof, last night's game did not end well. But the Brewers can go for the series win tonight, which is just fine against a middling Giants team. They're good enough that a sweep is unlikely. And with Peralta on the mound, hopefully the Brewers can get it done.

    Most submariners can’t throw much over 80mph. It’s a limitation of the arm slot, which is mostly effective because it’s so friggin’ weird.

    The amazing thing is that Kolten Wong has been worse than Winker.

    He has a .248 slugging percentage. Just brutal. It’s actually really hard to have slugging that low.

    It’s perfect baseball symmetry that the Giants have both of the Rogers twins. I love that they throw with different hands. So weird.

    True, it just feels like Adames has been sneaky underwhelming. He’s not terrible, just way below his career line.

    Amazing arm but he can’t keep it together. Hopefully the Brewers can get something out of him the Twins could not.

    Target Field just received a new scoreboard and I think it's sixth-largest in MLB or thereabouts. It's freakin' huge and pretty cool.* *this one will be bigger and therefore more cool

    It really depends how you exit the garages. The only garage without an entrance directly onto 394 is A Ramp, which has the entrance to 394 three turns away from the exit of the ramp.

    I implemented a “fix” but it’s a half measure. I didn’t want to go a more drastic route unless necessary, as it invites a couple of other annoying problems with it. The change might take a little while to propagate on your mobile devices. If people are still seeing this on Saturday, please let me know and I will attempt a different approach.

    That's kind of what I was thinking: eliminate some of the ground-level parking to build out the area, leave a bunch for tailgating (and a special ticket or something), then build structures for those who want to just park and leave their car.

    I'm lucky because when leaving the parking garages around Target Field, I'm heading west on 394. All the garages are quick to leave that way, two of the three have ramps directly onto the freeway. But I understand the aggravation. Personally, I make the trade-off in location and amenities every time.

    I know I've mentioned it before but I find the entire area around AmFam to be infuriating. It's so bloody hard to get in and out, there's nothing around it, and compared to most other modern ballparks, the location and area feels like a throwback (in the bad sort of way). They really need to figure out how to build out around the stadium and make it more of a modern experience without completely gutting the tailgating culture of the area.

    Interesting, I went the other direction and a C. The injuries have hurt, for sure, but most teams have significant injuries. Maybe the Brewers a little moreso but it hasn't been devastatingly bad. I bumped them down to the middle based on the complete futility of Winker and Voit, mostly.

    It appears this was written by the local team's beat writers but since the Crew doesn't have one of those at The Athletic, Nick Groke wrote up the Milwaukee segment. He's a former Rockies guy but from what I've seen, is also a roving writer for the site. The Brewers got a B.
