  1. Heyman thinks a trade is unlikely given the blowback of the Hader deal last deadline. I think he's right about that but also, he doesn't mention that Burnes hasn't really looked like Corbin Burnes this season. That alone makes a trade less appealing to the Brewers, as other teams are not going to offer 2021 Corbin Burnes prospect capital for this version of the pitcher. Also, the Brewers rotation is in shambles. Maybe that changes as we approach the deadline but I can't see Arnold repeating the Hader deal in the middle of a division race.

  3. I'm pretty sure there's a resource out there that does this - I've seen them in the past - but damned if I can find it anywhere right now. Anyone?
  4. Welcome to the site. Out of curiosity, what's your take on the MLB commissioner?
  5. Ultimately, that is the goal but we need traffic to bump a notch higher before we do it. As the forums self-generate more threads, we'll move the articles into their own forum permanently. And we're moving in the right direction, it just takes time. Traffic isn't enormously higher than it was a year ago but it's markedly higher. We routinely had under 1,000 people visit a day last year. We last dropped under 1,000 users in a day on March 19th this year.
  6. Okay thanks, I just saw it again as well. I'm only seeing it in forum threads. It never happens on the forum index or any of the article pages. Is this consistent with what everyone else is seeing?
  7. This is the one part of the renovations/upgrades that sound pretty legitimate. But of course we know MLB and the Brewers are going to ask for a lot of other things that assuredly aren't as legitimate.
  8. It really depends how you exit the garages. The only garage without an entrance directly onto 394 is A Ramp, which has the entrance to 394 three turns away from the exit of the ramp.
  9. I implemented a “fix” but it’s a half measure. I didn’t want to go a more drastic route unless necessary, as it invites a couple of other annoying problems with it. The change might take a little while to propagate on your mobile devices. If people are still seeing this on Saturday, please let me know and I will attempt a different approach.
  10. That's kind of what I was thinking: eliminate some of the ground-level parking to build out the area, leave a bunch for tailgating (and a special ticket or something), then build structures for those who want to just park and leave their car.
  11. I'm lucky because when leaving the parking garages around Target Field, I'm heading west on 394. All the garages are quick to leave that way, two of the three have ramps directly onto the freeway. But I understand the aggravation. Personally, I make the trade-off in location and amenities every time.
  12. I know I've mentioned it before but I find the entire area around AmFam to be infuriating. It's so bloody hard to get in and out, there's nothing around it, and compared to most other modern ballparks, the location and area feels like a throwback (in the bad sort of way). They really need to figure out how to build out around the stadium and make it more of a modern experience without completely gutting the tailgating culture of the area.
  13. It sure doesn't feel that way. I haven't been to the Trop but it feels impossible AmFam is worse than that place. And then there's the Colosseum, which literally had a possum infiltration, which led to this amazing tweet:
  14. Argh, this is happening again? What device are you using when this happens?
  15. That was me being injured and away from the site for a few days. I'm cleaning them up, thanks for the reminder.
  16. OAKLAND HAS CASH!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  17. I don't know if the second tier of prospects are under-rated or the Brewers are just really good at developing players slowly until they break out at or near the majors.
  18. I don’t think we’ll ever see MVP Yelich again but is it possible we’re seeing a return of Marlins Yelich?
  19. Which I would be ecstatic to see at this point.
  20. I feel like I'm screaming into the void at times but Hiura doesn't fix the Brewers' ails. Voit needs to go and the front office needs to find someone to hit LHP. Hiura ain't that person. Fix that problem and we can address how and where Hiura might fit into the lineup.
  21. You're ignoring his OPS over .800, which Milwaukee could absolutely use right now. The Brewers literally have the worst OPS in baseball against LHP at .598.
