    Replay is going to make things pretty crazy... to me, they should allow Molina back in the game because if they had gotten the HR call right in the first place then there would be no pinch runner. It's pretty logical don't you think?

    I got 2:30 for that Saturday game but that may include pregame? I also noticed that the chanel above on my guide is showing Wisconsin at Michigan in HD... This is why more HDTV's should have picture in picture, or split screen.

    Small sample size is fine for things like "clutch". But the stat geeks try to make too much out of their numbers. No one is trying to predict what will happen next, and no one should because anything can happen. If a player goes something like 35 for 91 in situations you could reasonably define as clutch situations then what's wrong with saying that they were very clutch in those situations? It doesn't mean that player will perform that way tomorrow or next week. That's what the stat guys don't get. You can't try to predict things. Nothing is an accurate predictor of anything. The players on the field are human, not robots. And i mean geek in the most affectionate way possible, as i consider myself one.. just not the stat sector of geekville.

    Well, that does it for me.. Good season Brewers, at least it was exciting for a bit... I'd love to stay emotionally attached to each and every game but i have school, work, and a whole mess of outdoor activities that i would rather be doing than to sit here and watch you continue to flounder under the pressure. Just a bunch of freaking losers....

    I love Ben Sheets, he's been the one staple on this team since he came up from the minors. Through all the losing he was there.. but it's time for him to go, just like it was time for Jenkins to go.. He'll be serviceable but he'll never have another season like '04 and if that's the case then he's not worth near the money he'll command.

    Are you kidding? 20K? This thing might sell out and i'm going to call that they put at least 35K in there.. I tried to buy some tickets and it said that it could not process due to high transaction volume. Crazy... I guess with Chicago so close they couldn't have cut prices.. Stinks for the fans.. good for Mark A's pocket book.

    Fair enough, Stein. But to be honest i just dont' know if it matters to a team like the Phillies, you know? They came back from 7.5 down in like 17 games last year so crowd or not they'll be ready. I'm BEGGING for a split right now... A split and i will feel great. Heck, we win tonight and i think we'll all feel just fantastic. This Cubs/Astros thing is bound to get interesting. What happens if another game gets postponed?? Do they play multiple double headers? Ha, this could be a blessing.

    Yeah, that'd be great if the fans were the ones out there playing. Or even if every single Philly player and manager was a season ticket holding Eagle DIE HARD, that may cause a little distraction.
