    Misiorowski was drafted in the 2nd round and hits 100mph. He has value. That value probably fluctuates greatly from team to team, so if you find the right trading partner, you might get more than he's worth.

    Has anyone seen a cost-benefit of having prospects play in winter ball? I'm sure it varies from player to player--some didn't get enough work during the regular season, some got more than enough--but I wonder if it's generally a good idea. I'd want some time off (and a chance to concentrate on building strength/speed/etc. in the weight room and track).

    I don't have anything against the pitchers you identified, but I'd be surprised if the Brewers made even that big of a splash in FA starting pitchers. Unless they don't tender Houser (or move him to the pen). I'm thinking more of a retread or two that can can be stashed in Nashville until we need them.

    Hart is as good of a comparable for Wiemer as anyone I can think of. I just hope Wiemer has a longer plateau where he's top notch. Buhner is a terrible comp. Buhner had 6 SB and 24 CS for his career.
