  1. They're all labeled Article. How hard is it to not click on them?
  2. Please stop posting that Turang will displace Adames to 3B. They wouldn't have been giving him games at other positions if they weren't considering him for a utility role. Peterson needs to be a priority rather than Wong. With Adames, Urias, Turang, Peterson, and (maybe) Brosseau, we have 2B-SS-3B covered. Without Peterson, they need another quality utility guy (or 3B), and I don't know how they can make one magically appear.
  3. If one of the guys who were on the Brewers in 2021 ends up beating us, I'll be pissed.
  4. 12 might be the minimum for a near guarantee, but the brewers can probably leapfrog one of the teams with even 10 wins. Let's say SD goes 8-7 the rest of the way. Brewers need to win 11 to tie them. Let's say PHL goes 9-7 the rest of the way. Brewers need to win 11 to tie them. BUT, there's a really good chance that at least one of those teams has a losing record for the rest of the season. If SD goes 6-9 the rest of the year, Brewers only need to go 9-7 to tie them. If PHL goes 7-9 the rest of the year, Brewers only need to go 9-7 to tie them. Chasing two teams increases our chances a lot. Of course every game we pick up or fall back from SD and PHL will dramatically change our chances.
  5. And they are playing .700 ball the last 10 games, so they're not trending negative at all. There are ups and downs during any season.
  6. They're chasing two teams; all that has to happen is one of them (relatively) sucks for the rest of the year. ESPN has them as a 30% probability of making the playoffs, but I think that slightly underestimates their chances. Picking up one game vs. either Philly or SD will significantly improve their chances.
  7. Alexander was a pretty good signing for what he is--An AAAA pitcher you can call up when there are injuries among your top 7 starting pitchers. He's just been used way too much. I guess they should have acquired a generic #5 SP at the deadline, but they were too optimistic about the guys they had.
  8. why are they DHing Ruiz, when he needs OF reps?
  9. that he has a chance for a major league career, even if there won't be a place for him in MKE.
  10. chasing two catchable teams really helps our chances, if we can avoid a losing streak.
  11. If you go with an all-rookie OF, you might as well trade Burnes, Woodruff, and Lauer.
  12. Unless traded in a trade that improves 1B (which will be hard to accomplish), I think it's a no-brainer to keep him. There's no one in the minors who can replace him
  13. McCutchen will be gone. They will need him.
  14. they should let him walk. no question.
  15. players can always waive any no-trade clause.
  16. mathematically possible. The probability is under 0.0001

  18. Ooh, that's an idea. Trade Yelich with Stearns. For a rookie ball lottery ticket.
  19. no player involved in that trade had a major league career.
  20. Are there 40 guys on AWL rosters? There are 5 ML teams contributing to each AWL team.

  22. Last year he had a 2.56 ERA. This year it's 3.39. You're just trying to be contrary.
  23. but they've all been WORSE than last year when they pitched.
