  1. Good call. Ole Miss needed all of that 900 point halftime lead as they nearly let it slip away but held on
  2. Yeah. I posted that at half. Kansas switched to a zone in the second half and Arkansas was clueless as to how to attack it. I agree the whole second half was pretty abysmal
  3. Rules have changed also since Edey. Purdue played a game in Canada so he could get paid some NIL. The NCAA has been decimated in court recently and essentially there are no rules as to how players are paid or who pays them. NIL is still a thing for many players as a vehicle in which to have a contractual agreement between players and schools for the most part.
  4. I second your concern for this game. Just don’t know what to think of this match up. The positives for me are that we did not play a tough, physically demanding game 1, get more rest at altitude, and Tonje is due for another good game
  5. Based on the schools that he visited I’m guessing his $bag isn’t that big. Probably most high major schools would be able to put something competitive together for him
  6. I had the same exact thoughts. Chucky and AJ get to cheer on their old teammates the rest of this tournament
  7. Kansas v Arkansas has been a fun one to watch so far. Lots of scoring
  8. Hopefully the Badgers plan on playing some defense on Saturday
  9. 13 points in a half won’t get it done
  10. Brutal half for Clemson. McNeese is a scrappy team and tough to play against
  11. Let’s hope so. Saw the first half of that game and Chucky was the only reason Louisville was somewhat in the game still.
  12. Creighton taking it to Louisville was a surprise for me. Almost a home game for a good Louisville team
  13. Started after the chipped tooth. He’s been pretty rough since
  14. Zrno did indeed decommit . I’m not sure what the Badgers interest might be in him. My understanding was he was offered but the coaches wanted to meet him in person before it was committable. Word was he left town without a for sure offer. Freeman will be expensive. If we can keep both Blackwell and Winter, I’m not sure he fits the budget. We lose several rotation players and will need at least 2-3 contributors from the portal next year IMO
  15. I agree. Doesn’t make much sense
  16. I like Beards basketball philosophy and their style of play. Ole Miss just didn’t finish strong and lost a game or two at home they should have won. Perhaps the transition to the NCAA tournament will reinvigorate them for a run.
  17. Pelissero: Vikings rejected multiple trade calls on JJ McCarthy. They plan to add a veteran QB but not currently pursuing Aaron Rodgers.
  18. I wouldn’t be surprised if UNC were favored in that game. I have a child at Ole Miss and I watched quite a few of their games this year. They started off good but faded some down the stretch. I’m expecting an early exit for them
  19. You weren’t kidding about that. Rough start offensively
  20. Fowler: Mecole Hardman to sign a 1-year deal with the Packers.
  21. I’m sure he got paid well. Indiana seems to have some access to funds for the basketball program
  22. Per Nicole Auerbach: Now official: Darian DeVries is the new Indiana head men's basketball coach. Tough week for WV basketball. There was also some talk he would end up at Iowa
  23. This is also true. The NCAA bubble teams all have some glaring hole in their resume. When all is said and done if you are complaining about being snubbed you probably should have just won a couple more games
  24. I agree the BYU-VCU is really interesting. BYU is a good offensive efficiency team and bad defensively. VCU is the opposite. McNeese is one to watch for the 12 seed upset. Former LSU coach Will Wade has that team playing well
  25. I would welcome this idea. I think the main thing is transparency for all teams to understand what criteria their resumes are being judged on no matter which system is being used
