  1. I’m sure it’s tricky for the staff this time of year. They need to build a team and still keep an eye on developing some players. Robison is another holdover that could be looking to break into the rotation also I have not heard anything about Benjamin in a while. Jones I believe had several teams interested and may be in a bidding war situation right now
  2. Mason Rieger is also back from post season surgery and reportedly looks great. He will certainly factor in off the edge as well
  3. Kendall Blue from St Thomas was reported to be a heavy favorite to land with the Badgers by a national CBB writer. Boyd is still supposedly favored to land at UW as well. Pretty sure both would be takes as you said they have roster spots to fill. I think Blue would be more of a rotation guy though
  4. Couldn’t agree more on Rapp. He’s a perfect fit for what Kirk Penney wants to do with this offense. It is probably greedy but a physical rim protector would still be nice I saw we are in on another guard so I’m a bit more skeptical on Boyd right now. I do think we need one more perimeter player that can get in the lane and make things happen off the dribble
  5. Sean Wright doesn’t have the best history with Breaking news. I believe he was the guy that posted that Bobby Portis was also traded this year. Clearly there was some smoke with this player but I haven’t seen anything from Badger beat writers on him yet
  6. Austin Rapp has committed to UW. I love this...
  7. I'm feeling better now about next year...
  8. I don’t think he is a top 100 prospect yet but it’s a good experience for him to go through the workouts and evaluation process
  9. If the rumors are true that Boyd and Rohde are committing I can envision a team being constructed that is very similar to that 2021 Baylor NC team. That team had three guards that could handle the point, a stretch big and a couple physical post players. We would only be a couple physical post players away from a less talented version of that squad IMO. Not easy to get those guys and they aren’t cheap but I would be thrilled if that came together
  10. Good addition IMO. Starting caliber guard. His shooting percentage should tick back up in UWs offense v the SDSU offense he was in last year.
  11. Sounds like Rohde is down to ISU and UW. Also appears the interest in him is similar between the two schools. I watched a couple UVA games and Rohde is ok. Hard to assess how he would fit the UW offense. He also seems to be more of a catch and shoot player. I think he would be ok coming off the bench and providing some offense.
  12. Would it dong? Gonna be busy again today
  13. I like the looks of C Austin Rapp who is on an OV now per several reports. 6’10” Australian incoming Sophomore and shoots it from 3. He needs the UW S&C program and work with Steimsma to get a little more physical in the paint
  14. Guessing the staff told him they are bringing in some guards and he would have no playing guarantees
  15. I’m going to be nervous until I hear Blackwell and Winter have signed a deal for next year. That’s the top priority. There are a couple nice players they appear to be in on and several other that would be developmental type player. That being said I’d be onboard for some Mack truck action for sure. He will bring toughness wherever he ends up
  16. I thought Houston got away with a ton of contact at the beginning of the game. At the end of the day though Tennessee didn’t shoot it well enough
  17. Many of the SEC schools seem to have mega donors that step up and contribute when necessary. Not sure UW and some other Big schools have that either.
  18. I think all the elite 8 teams were Bart Torviks top 8 ranked teams this year. There was a pretty clear divide between those top teams and everyone else. The way things look now it’s Duke at the very top and everyone else a notch below
  19. Crazy game. Yanks launch a few homers. Brewers dink, dunk, dribble their way back into it
  20. That’s just ugly
