Ok, small sample police can remember also that McGehee played the same position quite poorly last year so please don't jump down my throat for saying this after 2+ games. He is a complete statue out there that we are going to be stuck with this year. Bigger, older slower...he is not going to get better. Who is out there to replace him next year? Will the Crew have enough money to get a good player at the hot corner?

This team is getting pathetic very quickly. What an opening series. Garbage. -
He has no instinct at 3rd. He is a statue that prolly had his career year at the plate last year. Yep, I'm ready for a change over there already. He just has no footwork/speed to speak of. These pitchers are going to get screwed on earned runs all year if he is out there.

He is the slowest 3rd baseman in the league. There is no way that he should be playing that deep constantly. Lose weight or work on foot speed...or play first.

My parents just got back from AZ and were told by a scout from another team that Gamel has worn out his welcome in MKE...thus there are a bunch of teams checking out his games. He ignores take signs, refuses positional practice because he doesn't want to switch from 3rd and has become a problem in the clubhouse. Obviously this is from a non-Brewer but it is interesting...

Watching Duke vs Clemson without an emotional connection and hating how Duke is being favored on every call/non-call. Really quite a joke.

Went to the Byron Nelson in Dallas (actually Las Colinas) last year and had a blast! Big tips: 1. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. There isn't a ton of shade on the course and, obviously, the majority of the golf is played during the middle of the day so you will fry w/out it. 2. Follow groups of guys that you want to see. There are a lot of golfers that do not really matter on the course and several that are really bad to watch (I nearly got nailed by several sprayed shots). 3. Go to the local hot spots at night. You WILL see the golfers at the bars/nightclubs. They have their own groupies and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Seriously, I would have never attended if my company wouldn't have paid the bill but I had a great time and will definitely go to more events...

Just picked up the book "The Gold Coast" by Nelson DeMille. So far so good...300 pages in about 3 hours of sporadic interruptions...

Weeks: He now has a manager that encourages him to use his speed. Look for a lot of stolen bases, singles that are stretched to doubles...and an injured wrist is never really 100% up to strength in the first 18 months post surgery. Look for him to put even a little more sting on the ball this year... -

Wow, after getting stranded in the Boston area storm last week I am now going to be traveling a TON this week in Wisconsin. Here's your chance Mr. Weatherman...what's it look like for Monday? Weather.com says 80% chance for snow and I have a 380 mile trip planned.

The man that sat near me at the bar at Applebee's in Menomonie, WI was about the most annoying person that I have ever been near. 500+ lbs, smacking his lips while eating (imagine a 2 year-old eating a lemon for their first tart experience), slurping his drink, burping, farting, coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth/nose and constantly commenting about everything on tv, at the tables around him, on his food, on his drinks...etc. I actually got up and moved from the bar to a table on the opposite side of the restaurant. 100% the most disgusting display that I have ever seen.

My hypothesis is very close to owbc. 77 wins last year, 18 games improvement on the pitching staff, 1 game regression at CF, 2 game regression at SS, one game at 2b (small Weeks injury) and one game in Rf (Hart comes back down a bit) = 90 wins.

I had a waist deep drift over my driveway this morning. It took me about 2 hours to blow all of the snow out of a 30' long and 15' wide drive. Seriously, I could probably blow the driveway again this afternoon just to keep up with the blowing/drifting...

I really like that "caveat" being added. For some, opening day gets their blood pumping...but for me, seeing all of the player movement is the BEST CRACK AVAILABLE! C'mon Dougie, get him out of here!!!
