  1. And we were complaining about Frankie Montas yesterday!
  2. Come on everyone. We all knew they weren’t going to sweep the Nationals. Give our team a break, they’re still in first.
  3. I hardly call Tommy Edman and Oliver Gonzalez a hoard. LOL
  4. The brewers must lead the league in runners thrown out at home.
  5. So says you. How are you actually backing this up. Montas is more valuable than De La Cruz? Making future De La Cruz predictions based upon nothing. A 31 yo injury prone pitcher with these stats that actually occurred: IP/WHIP/ERA from the past 3 years… 2022 (39.2/1.538/6.35 ), 2023 (1.1/2.250/0.00) and 2024 (93.1/1.436/5.01). Not that impressive, huh?I always thought yo were better than this.
  6. Current stats no. However anyone would be a fool not to believe De La Cruz has the most promising future of the other 2 ball players. That’s like saying Blake Perkins (WAR 1.9) and Chourio (WAR 2.0 )are equvalent. Your argument is a Trojan horse LOL. 😆
  7. Maybe! Except it’s Murphy making this move and be has been batting Turang lead off for over a month.
  8. Reminds me of the problems Wiemer had last year to a lesser degree.
  9. Will Murphy ever change his batting order??
  10. I really don’t understand Murphy’s managerial style.
  11. Ross’s new role should really be DFA. Anyone know what 1.47, 1.31, 1.67, 1.22, and 1.36 signify?
  12. This team is absolutely embarrassing trying to hit the ball.
  13. Knowing Murphy he’ll have him in the lineup the day after he is traded.
  14. I’m so tired of Frelick trying to play baseball.
  15. Hopefully the Packers will pull us out of this Wisconsin slump. NFL here we come.
  16. Despite all evidence Murphy does not/will not move Turang from the top of the lineup. It isn’t bad enough that the players are in a major slump. Now we have a lame duck manager.
  17. Your link reports his Brewer stats (MLB) from earlier this year. I quoted my stats from the brewerfanatic encyclopedia Sveumrules (Joey Wiemer’s new swing; topic, We’d., July 24, page 3). “Interesting, I thought maybe someone bumped the thread because he’s hit 413/526/630 (204 wRC+) with 10 BB | 8 K over 57 PAs since July 2nd.”
  18. You just might want it give Joey a little more time to mature, especially since he has overhauled his entire swing this season. He has only played 99 games in AAA with 421 PA. He is a far superior fielder than Hicklen and Frelick for that matter. It will be interesting to see who will be a better MLB outfielder in 2026 between these 3 players. I think a little more patience is needed with Wiemer especially with his slugging potential.
  19. I get on my knees and thank the powers that be you are nowhere near the Brewer GM position. Arnold isn’t that stupid! In July Wiemer has hit 413/526/630 (204 wRC+) with 10 BB | 8 Ks in 57 PAs. You probably would have DFAed Chourio in June.
  20. Hmmmmmm! I’m sure you believe that, but I wouldn’t even throw in a Chris Roller or a Pat Dorian in the trade.
  21. Way too much in return. One 25-40 ranked prospect and maybe a PTBN later. Adding Wiemer would be a large overpay.
  22. This is the exact reason why Murphy MUST stop putting him in the lead off position.
