    Two schools that should be worried Are K-State and Iowa State. If there are 4 16 team conferences, by my count, they are probably the two most likely to be left out.

    I know next to nothing about soccer injury frequency, but just in general it seems that every time a match has been played the past few months, one team loses a player for the upcoming Cup.

    I got fired by the Brewers today in mid 2011, which is probably pretty realistic when it comes to Melvin's job security if he doesnt turn it around. Here are some complaints that I have about the game. - still way way way too many trades, even with trading frequency set to low. - way way way too many injuries without setting them to Very Low. As an addendum to that, while injuries were set to regular (Classic OOTP) my ENTIRE AAA pitching staff was on the DL in mid to late 2010 and each and every one of them was out for a minimum of 6 months. But here is the kicker, a I dont know if this is a glitch or what, but Manny Parra was on the shelf for "Neck Stiffness" and he had a return time of 47-48 months. Chris Capuano had the same injury and was out 12-13 months. Is that a glitch in the game? Also, somehow all my pitchers have ERAs above 5.00 (even Gallardo, my traded-for David Price and FA acquisition Cliff Lee), while all my hitters have OPS below .800 (Braun, Fielder, Gamel, Hart, etc. etc.) Is this normal?

    This is a mess. Id rather have a 12 team conference with the Big 12 staying together, by adding Notre Dame. I think it would be better for college sports to keep the Big 6 conferences in tact.

    It is unfortunate that the only real "news" Ive heard regarding the World Cup over the past 3-4 months has been that star players for many nations are out of the cup due to injury. That is a shame, as name recognition is important when the game itself hasnt taken hold the way others have in this country. I was looking forward to watching Ivory Coast, now they dont have a chance.

    Attack and Release was far and away their worst album. Start with the Big Come Up and progress, you wont be disappointed. Now, off to get the new album.

    Ideally you send him to Tampa Bay at the deadline so they can seal the deal on the AL pennant and you talk them into sending us Hellickson and Matt Moore. I'd even send them back Manny Parra if they threw is someone like Alex Cobb. Then they can let Pena and Crawford walk at the end of the year, take the picks they get for them and replace them in 2011 with Fielder and Desmond Jennings.

    The problem with trading Fielder was summed up by Homer today - without him meaning to - when while discussing trading Prince and talking about his replacement Homer and Mitch (ESPNMilwaukee.com) said "it doesnt matter who replaces him, finding a decent hitting 1b isnt that hard"

    If Davis continues to pitch the way he has this season, how long before he gets released? Or because he is one of the big FA signings this offseason will he make 32 starts and finish with a 6.50 ERA?

    I know a lot of people who go into fits of rage at simply the mention of the Cleveland Indians. This has to be one of the worst studies I have seen.

    His arby case should be interesting this winter. TJ surgery + PED suspension. I wonder how his agent will justify a big raise for him.

    Berkman might not even get a contract if the market for oft-injured 35 year old DHs doesnt change.
