  1. ^^^^ Weird. So much of that performance seemed familiar, yet I couldnt place the song or the musician anywhere else and I never really got into the performance. Edit - Due to the poorer quality of the first post, here is a different White Stripes Song. Ball and Biscuit
  2. Since so many BF.netters are not just baseball geeks, but music geeks as well, I figured it was time for another music thread. For this one lets post live performances of our favorite artists. To kick off the thread, Also, before you post another video clip, you have to say what you liked or didnt like about the video posted last.
  3. Mo Vaughn? Sid Fernandez? Eating your way out of the league can be hidden. Most fat guys can be productive ages 23-29, it is the 30-33 time where they start declining and it is a quick exit out of the league at that point, only many dont realize it and assume it is age, not fatness that causes that decline. While it may be age, it cant be ignored that some times if a player is thinner and takes good care of his body that he can play longer.
  4. I agree, we should let Cam go and replace him with someone who hits on the left side who gets on base les, hits for less power and plays inferior defense. That way, the team can be balanced and suck from both sides of the plate. How about Juan Pierre? He is lefty and might put up a .300/.330/.360 line for us.
  5. A little part of me looks forward to going to Weekday games with 12,000 fans in attendance and Saturday night games of 20k. It wont be so crowded.
  6. Seems to me that every time Torres comes in with a one run lead there are at least one hit like this.

  8. Other names considered were Barons, Bisons, Wind, Energy, and Marshals. I would have gone with Barons or Bisons.
  9. I agree. I dont think he should be awarded a no-hitter. It was a lousy call, but so what.
  10. the volume isnt working on BTN in Oshkosh, TWC.
  11. I did pretty well for myself on-line, about 5 years ago. Then my first child was born and anytime I would try to play it would be trying to cram it in between naps, late at night, etc etc and because of that I couldnt play the way I wanted to, I ended up losing some $100 deposits. I am pretty well out of it these days.

  13. Yeah, I am rocking a 27" Sony regular tube TV and I think it is great. I think I got it for $50.
  14. Really? A waste? Does that mean that I have wasted my time watching the games for the past 20 years that were not in HD?? That's before we had a choice. I don't watch TV in black and white anymore either, or limit my viewing to four channels.Unlike what appears to be 90% of the general population, I do not own a flat screen, plasma, lcd, 1080 psi, or what ever you call it 48" HD TV. HD television sets are expensive, and last I heard the cable companies were charging extra to receive these special HD channels. I can barely justify paying $45 dollars a month of expanded basic, nevermind premium HD channels. Last year I saw all of one or two Badger games, seeing all of them this year in crappy ole standard screen TV will suit me just fine, so it is hardly a "waste" if it isnt in HD.

  16. 1. Weeks 2. Hardy 3. Braun 4. Fielder 5. Hart 6. Blalock 7. Cameron 8. Kendall
  17. I frequent jsonline multiple times a day, usually to check out the news and sports blogs that are updated throughout the day. Everytime I do I have to endure either a Harley driving over my screen, or now it is a some big crossover style SUV. Then, I click on a story and the stupid page peels back for a beer ad. I cannot stand this crap. Anyway to block these sorts of ads?
  18. I am in the parking lot of the mall, in the bank building. BTW, do you want to be in a auction fantasy football league? We might have an extra spot.
  19. Price lowered to $80.00. I have to move them asap, I dont want to have to eat the tickets.
  20. Tom Petty is not amused.
  21. I have two tickets that I cannot use this Friday, plus a preferred parking pass. Face value of the 2 tickets + pass is $105.00. The first person to reply to this message and is able to pick them up between 9:00-5:00 at my place of work (Near Mayfair Mall) on Wednesday or Thursday gets them for $80.00. Tickets are Section 118, Row 16 seats 12 and 13. Remember, pick up is a must!
  22. I thought this was going to be a thread about Sabathia (22 mil) and Sheets (14) as free agents this off season.
  23. Im not sure, I went to bed after the quaterfinals, it was after 10:00 pm. I dont think they showed the finals, I would imagine that NBC will run the finals on tape during primetime tonight. I couldnt find a video of the final, just stills both on ESPN and on NBC.com I took that to mean that it hadnt aired yet.
  24. Oh dont worry, I woke up and signed onto the internet and my homepage (MSN.com) proudly displayed all the results from the overnight at the top of the page in huge letter and pictures. Talk about blowing the suspense.
