  1. If Turang can draw walks and make tons of contact like he currently is, then we'll really be getting somewhere.
  2. Is it just me or is Peguero breaking out more of a cutter? Cause his slider is usually more 90/91 than 95...Wouldn't be a bad idea to pair with that sinker.
  3. To be fair, Gore is one of the best young lefties in the game. I suspected this was going to happen going in.
  4. Braves lit up Angel's new acquisition Lucas Giolito for 9 runs. We feel ya halos.
  5. Also, Corbin Burnes went 8 innings just two starts ago.
  6. Some really good contact that inning.
  7. If that's the case, then "control your own destiny" shouldn't really be used in baseball. Unless you're the Braves or there's like 15 games left in the season... Plus, under either interpretation, the Brewers still literally control their own destiny. Anyways, I feel like there's more meaningful and productive conversations to be had here...
  8. I'd be very understanding if I were a Reds fan. Trading away prospects now could reduce your ceiling over the next 5 years.
  9. So basically a good thing we don't play at Arizona for the rest of the season...
  10. Brock. You know as well as I the history there. I'm not inflaming things further. I'm just recognizing the fact that the conversation is unlikely to go anywhere productive and trying to put an end to it. We obviously have different interpretations of control your own destiny. I take it to also mean you don't have any deficit to make up, which the Brewers don't right now by virtue of the extra game and the tiebreaker. That poster is entitled to their interpretation and I'm entitled to mine. Maybe focus more on all of the literal trolling/garbage that goes on here and the name-calling....The # of users (and your bottom line) may be fine, but the quality of discussion is in serious decline...Seriously, man.
  11. Or keep pace with the Reds/Cubs and win that extra game...
  12. Welcome back to the world of the winning, Brewers.
  13. You like to see that contact from Frelick. 105.2 MPH, his highest exit velocity yet. Keep doing that with his hyper-contact profile and he'll be in great shape.
  14. Eesh. Lively for the Reds is wearing it with 13 runs allowed, ALL earned.
  15. I tell you what though, triple digits with that kind of movement ain't exactly a plentiful commodity....Felix Bautista-lite.
  16. A shutdown inning! Never thought I'd see the day.
  17. Stop playing Wiemer against RHP, CC. You literally have Canha!
  18. And then two straight changeups for balls to start Abrams...
