@Brock Beauchamp Yophery Rodriguez wasn’t there when I originally voted can I please have a redo? Thanks lol

Disagree somewhat. As the Phillies, Braves, etc. have shown recently, anything is possible once you get into the dance. I do think there are “untouchables” in our system (Chourio, Misiorowski, etc.) that I wouldn’t even discuss unless for a controllable star. But if there’s decent value out there for someone who can improve the club in the here and now and would cost you a Black, for example, I would do it. I think we absolutely need to take advantage of potential opportunities improve the offense at the deadline, as you only get so many chances to win a division and prospects flame out all the time.

Or any of the three games in Milwaukee at the end of the month,.

With a win tomorrow, the Brewers' would clinch the season series over the Reds and thus the divisional tiebreaker....

My introduction as a 6 year old Brewer fan.

Well, there's a first time for everything.

    Got 'em!!!

    Cannot let EDC on.
  10. Brewcrew82
    And then trade for Hader.
  11. Brewcrew82
Just don't let Peguero face EDC and we're fine.

Monasterio is not a major league hittter against righties either.
  13. Brewcrew82
I'm concerned about Turang as a hitter.
  14. Brewcrew82
Wow. Interesting move to take Ashcraft out.
  15. Brewcrew82
Bensen's throw right there is why you send Wiemer with 2 outs.
  16. Brewcrew82
Leadoff double. Gotta get him in.
  17. Brewcrew82
It takes a lot of pitches to strike out 13 batters.

Wouldn't it be nice if Burnes had a dominant 2nd half?
  19. Brewcrew82
    That's Cy Young Burnes.
  20. Brewcrew82
That took a perfect throw. You send him 100% of the time and it’s a run 95% of the time.
  21. Brewcrew82
    Caratini....
  22. Brewcrew82
    Thanks a lot.

Seems like a Yankees or Dodgers move. Wouldn't put it past the Rays, either, honestly

I never said he shouldn't be DFA'd. I'm just explaining why Winker's not in the lineup against a RHP, because it's the same case as the last time Winker wasn't in the lineup against a RHP.

Looking at pictures of Corbin, Devin, and Josh hanging out at the ASG, it got me thinking whether reacquiring Josh at the deadline could have the exact opposite effect on the clubhouse as last year...I don't think we need another late-inning reliever, but I wouldn't exactly be opposed to it for that reason, in addition to deepening an already strong high-leverage bullpen.
