  1. And somehow this team is back in first place...
  2. He's managing for his job at this point.
  3. So, dumping Boxberger proved to be the prudent decision. Peguero has been awesome.
  4. Rea has his limitations, but he's a competitor, and you've gotta appreciate that about him.
  5. Huh? He got Contreras, who is a huge improvement over Narvaez.
  6. True, but he's not going anywhere after the season. lol
  7. I'm tired of Rowdy Tellez. I'm tired of Willy Adames. I'm tired of Jesse Winker. I'm tired of Corbin Burnes. I'm tired of Craig Counsell.
  8. Verlander was just asking to be hit around today and we said no thanks.
  9. I don't have a problem going that far when you have so many of our key players underperforming their career averages and when you have innings like the one we just had against a struggling team. .
  10. Yelich is literally the only thing we have going for us right now.
  11. This has been Counsell's worst year as a manager with all the underperformances and mental mistakes. The buck stops with him..
  12. We're not in a position to send down .300 BA/.800 OPS hitters right now. More like hello Frelick, bye bye Tapia.
  13. Brewers putting on a clinic on how to give games to a struggling pitcher and a struggling team.
  14. Perkins is lucky he's hitting right now.
  15. We're letting a struggling pitcher off the hook with our awful approaches and utter stupidity.
  16. Devin is pretty much a lock. Yelich may sneak in as a reserve OF or injury replacement. Wild Bill with an outside shot. But that'll be it.
  17. Did you know that something called "development" occurs with prospects? Fact of the matter is, as @sveumrulespoints out, he's walked 5 over his last 6 starts while striking out 40 (8.0 K/BB) over 36.1 IP with a 3.22 ERA. He's not the same pitcher he was earlier in the year, when the Brewers signed Teheran, who is literally the only pitcher you can say they signed off the street and brought directly to the major leagues.
