  1. Honestly, I'd wait a week or two yet and pay close attention to Keston's K%. But the Brewers haven't exactly shown a particular concern for reverse splits to this point. At some point you gotta give Keston one final opportunity...
  2. You gotta find out at some point. Better now than after the trade deadline. If he fails one final time, I doubt we end up caring about him refusing the assignment anyways. Upside? We've all seen what happens when he actually makes contact. And Keston is 26. Voit is 31.... SSA, but his K% has been declining in AAA recently....
  3. I think we're getting close to seeing Keston get one last opportunity with the Brewers...The Voit experiment has just about run its course. Gotta go with youth and upside.
  4. Yep. All he needs to do is just find a way to foul those pitches off and/or lay off them entirely and keep the at-bat going...I think we're getting closer to seeing Keston get one more opportunity with the Brewers given Voit's struggles. Huge SSA, but Keston's slash line against LHP is: .370/.433/.815...
  5. We avoid Ohtani and Sandoval. Cardinals, who play the Angels starting tonight, get those guys. Love it.
  6. Need Tyrone and Urias in this lineup.
  7. That's a pretty good start by Rea. I wouldn't let him face Trout and Ohtani again, though.
  8. I have no clue how Owen Miller has 20 barrels in his career.
  9. Now I know what they mean when they say a guy has hit one out of orbit...Didn't realize they were being literal.
  10. Gotta be Voit. If he's not going to hit, he has no business being on the roster.
  11. A little. But a high walk-rate is okay for relievers with shutdown stuff, which he clearly has. See Williams, Devin.
  12. He's in a bad slump right now. I think they're sitting him the entire weekend against lefties to give him an opportunity to reset with Colorado and some righties coming up.
  13. This guy just got lit up by the A's and naturally he'll end up setting a career high in Ks against us...
  14. To Zach Neto before Trout and Ohtani with nobody out? No way.
  15. It's better to look at his baseball savant page lol
  16. Like this acquisition. High velocity and spin numbers and pretty sold K numbers as well. Gotta improve the quality of contact though.
  17. As much as I hate to say it, he sure would look good in this pen with his avg velocity back over 100 MPH.
  18. Just a hunch. But I think Rea is going to give up a dinger or two to Trout and Ohtani tomorrow...
  19. Masterful job, Strz. Good to see the Ks and whiffs.
