  1. Stop it with the terrible camera angles Bally Sports. Missed two pitches in that Parades at-bat.
  2. He's sitting 91-95 right now. That's about normal for him. He wasn't hitting 100 before. At most, down a tick or two.
  3. No way of knowing if Urias actually caught that ball, but terrific effort.
  4. Been saying this all year. They don't need to have an elite offense to win in the playoffs with their pitching. They just can't go stone cold like they did against Braves last year. The playoffs is all about getting hot and staying hot for 3-4 series.
  5. Hopefully he figured something out after the 2nd inning on Friday when he held the Jays potent lineup scoreless for the next four innings. And the start before that against the Reds was a quality start. It's all about avoiding that big inning with him where his command of his sinker just disappears and he can't throw strikes with his breaking pitches.
  6. A guy like Gustave or Milner would've probably been better. Alexander puts way too many baserunners on to use him in a 4 run game.
  7. I wasn't even talking about you in the first place. But the fact remains that, even by your own Fangraphs citation, the Brewers are likely to have an equal or better offense over the rest of the season than the Padres, Giants, Phillies, White Sox, Rays, etc. They're not that far behind teams like the Twins, Cardinals, and Mets either. So, the Brewers are definitely not alone among contenders on offense.
  8. Too bad I was told the Brewers can't beat good teams....Of course playing the Reds, Pirates, and Cubs on a regular basis helps, but this team can hang in there with the best of them when everybody's not on the IL.
  9. Yep. That is how we compete with other teams in the NL who may have better offenses than us on paper. Two top 10 starting pitchers and then a shut down late inning relief corps. The upgrade from Chi Chi/Alexander to an in-form Woodruff can't be overstated.
  10. Sophia said they're looking for him to start Saturday (7/2) or Sunday (7/3). So, if that holds and with the off-day yesterday, there's no need for Chi Chi anymore.
  11. Besides the fact that that's definitely not how the posters I'm talking about have framed it, Fangraphs, which you cite, has the Padres, Giants, Rays, Phillies, and White Sox all averaging equal or less runs per game over the rest of the season....
  12. And now you've got the tying run up in a guy who went 10-15 last week....
  13. CC getting way too cute. Williams and Hader didn't even pitch on Sunday.
  14. No, it means Ashby is about to rejoin the rotation.
