  1. Jason Alexander warming up out of the pen alongside Devin. Looks like we're going to be back to near full-strength in our rotation very soon.
  2. Brad Boxberger, ladies and gents. So underappreciated, yet so key to this team's success.
  3. Yep. Insert a Josh Bell into the middle of this lineup and then you'd be cooking.
  4. They're a mid-tier offense, per both the stats accumulated thus far and the projected stats. The way people talk on here you'd think they were mired in the mid to high 20s....
  5. This offense is a lot better than people on here give credit for. It may be light on star power compared to a team like the Blue Jays or the Cardinals but there are no automatic outs anymore and everybody's capable of having a day.
  6. Brewers hitting the ball very hard against Baz with nothing to show for.
  7. Brett Phillips might be the one guy in the league with bigger swing and miss issues than Keston Hiura.
  8. Just gotta keep getting on base and keep hitting it hard.
  9. Hard to believe the Rays got both Glasnow AND Baz for Archer, in addition to Austin Meadows.
  10. I bet there's more Brewers fans than Rays fans there tonight.
  11. 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Joey Wiemer 3. Sal Frelick 4. Brice Turang 5. Jeferson Quero 6. Ethan Small 7. Antoine Kelly 8. Tyler Black 9. Mario Feliciano 10. Garrett Mitchell 11. Hedbert Perez 12. Henry Mendez 13. Felix Valerio 14. Eduardo Garcia 15. Brandon Knarr 16. Jackson Reetz 17. Joe Gray Jr. 18. Zavier Warren 19. Freddy Zamora 20. Logan Henderson
  12. We can get by for the next 10-14 days or so with Yelich, Taylor, Davis, and McCutchen as our outfield options, given that Peterson also needs playing time and will likely feature there now as well with Wong's return. Not sure about the good defender part with Dahl either. Every stat I've seen from his time in Colorado and Texas says below average.
  13. Agree on all counts except for the Dahl and Hiura swap. Dahl's play in AAA, while solid, isn't at a level where the Brewers have no choice but to clear a roster spot for him. Meanwhile, Hiura has done enough, especially against right-handers, to warrant a roster spot for now.
  14. McCutchen's June batting line: .320/.420/.480/.900.......From a guy who traditionally heats up as the weather heats up.
  15. Yeah, it's almost certainly going to be Reyes that goes down on Tuesday. But with how everyone's been dropping like flies this year, who knows? It may still be a while before the Brewers have to make a decision on Hiura.
  16. Oh, it was obvious to me. I just chose to ignore it, like your weekend 10 pack "joke", considering it's such a weird hill for you to attempt to die on. After all, this is a message board for passionate Brewers fans. And I made this post since you made such a big stink about my response to you that today's game was far from the near-certain loss you were making it out to be. Turns out I was right in my thinking, so you got all steamed up over nothing.
  17. Cardinals fall to the Cubs in extras. 1 game lead for the Brewers in the division. If the Reds can hold their 10-1 lead against the Giants, the Brewers will also be up 1.5 games for the last wild card spot in the NL. And after Tampa, the schedule lightens up just as we are getting healthier.....
  18. And it simultaneously gets really hard for the Cardinals with series against the Marlins (Alcantara and Lopez are both pitching), Phillies X2, Braves, and Dodgers all coming up.....
  19. Agreed. The numbers say 10-3 Brewers and 2/3 Brewers wins. Chi Chi wasn't optimal against the Jays lineup, but like I said, Berrios has really struggled this year, so it was far from a near-certain loss. Though, I am quite glad if today means the end of the Weekend 10 Pack "joke". Okay, I better get going now because I know you're keeping track of the amount of time I spend on here. Go Brewers!
