    I get he’s not producing right now, but if Chourio’s become a platoon bat vs LHP, I absolutely hate that. He’s better off in AAA.

    Brewers 10 games over .500 with a +52 run differential. 5 games up on the Cards, who have the worst run differential in the division, and 5.5 games up on the Scrubs. No other NL Central team is over .500 or has a plus run differential. May is just ending, but you have to consider the Brewers pretty heavy favorites to win the division at this point for the 2nd consecutive season and the 3rd time in 4 years.

    That's quite true in general. However, Steele and Imanaga, for example, are exceptions because of: 1) Variety in movement and velocity. As a result, their two pitches are more like 3+pitches. 2) Location. They rarely miss their spots leading to fewer drivable pitches in the heart of the zone. Combine that with the tunneling and you have the results you've seen from them.

    You keep wondering how these guys are able to get away with it and why our guys don't just sit on those pitches until you see a Pitching Ninja overlay where you're unable to identify more than one baseball 3/4 of the way to the plate.....

    6+ years of Robert Gasser is not future trade gymnastics.... Also, we've been over this many times. They did not miss the playoffs "largely because of the trade". They were not a good team after Memorial Day, which included Hader.

    I think you have a lighter understanding of how the Brewers have and must operate under the parameters of MLB's existing financial structure. Don't tell me what team to root for.

    Yeah. They had him positioned for no doubles defense when the tying run was already in scoring position. Coaching staff has to make sure that doesn’t happen.
