    please edit your post, horizontal scrolling sucks... these are the things you put up with when you start 2 rookies... 2 guys looking at fastballs down the middle in clutch at bats. This game isn't over. This is the saddest 0-2 game thread I've ever seen...reading it you would think we are down by 9

    wow..usually broadcasters give managers the benefit of the doubt...the AZ guys just thanked Ned for doing something so bleepin stupid...they should have made Ben hold the bat upside down to prevent even THINKING about swinging

    so I assume blazer feels that JJ should not be in the majors. 10 out of 10 times you sacrifice a red-hot JJ to get to Cappy (still a .100 hitter by the way)...congrats though, you have actually made bjames sound logical in this discussion by comparison

    ummm...ok, and how would have JJ's bunt worked out differently than Cappys? Miller didn't even run from second, it would have had to been perfect execution..can't fault the strategy there

    Think I may give the Crew a chance and not go tonite, as the brewers are 0-834 when I get to see them live. Plus its unbelievably freakin hot here, might be better to watch on TV.

    Just got home from the game...here are my thoughts, haven't read the 17 pages, so forgive me repeats... 1. Jenkins shot was a bomb, and landed right below me (I was in the Upper Deck in LC) 2. Weeks looked horrible, the 2 errors were bad, and the third should have been an error, he fielded the ball cleanly, just dropped it. (I was out of there before the HR, sounds impressive though) 3. Santos looked like he was being squeezed from where I was, if he was missing, it wasn't by much 4. The guy who got hit by Lee's foul in the 2nd is going to feel that one, one of the hardest hit balls i've ever seen, hope he is alright 5. Dauer's shifts didn't seem to work all that well tonight. There were a few hit through the infield that should have been had if played normally. Maybe its hard to predict against walker, pujols etc... maybe play those guys straight up

    Quick weather update for you guys...what I hope is the worst just passed. T-Storms moved through, but there doesn't seem to be anything major coming behind it...I'm off to Busch, lets go crew!!

    very sunny right now in STL. According to local news, only T-storms expected this afternoon...not a cloud in the sky at the moment. Should be at the game tonite, looking forward to it!

    magruder was ayala's baserunner...he will get the loss. It looked like he crossed the rubber, plus his foot was well more than 45 degrees towards home plate when it landed, which I think they have called on cappy this year

    the home plate ump has been consistently terrible all night

    and it seems to be an actual brewer crowd...I've never heard Miller that loud for the Brewers

    uggg....this has been a game I felt we can win, but wow are we trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...how do you get picked off first by a RHP?

    sure mlb tv cuts out right before yost gets ejected... once a year, and i miss it
