Everything posted by Lucas O.

  1. He's barely holding his velo into the 2nd inning at this point. He's in AAA because he's not one of the 5 best starters on the team.
  2. He's been building his arm back after a pretty lengthy time not pitching. He's also at best the 6th best SP on the team so not sure there's a role on this team for him with him being vocally pouty about being in a mixed SP/RP role in early season 2021.
  3. Root gets a strikeout! ACL Brewers win 2-1 and are up 1-0 in the best of 3 playoff series!
  4. Root gets the first 2 hitters to strikeout then gives up back to back singles. Runners on the corner with 2 outs. 2-1 ACL Brewers still
  5. And now we are winning with Yelich in the midst of a pretty huge slump. Imagine if the rest of our bats can continue to hit well and we get that dominant summer Yelich back as well.
  6. Biloxi and Carolina both in jeopardy of blowing their playoff leads. Meanwhile Nashville is suddenly 1 game back of the IL lead.
  7. Yeah. Nashville - 2 G back Biloxi - Tied for 1st WI - 5 games back of Peoria for 2nd place and 2nd half playoff spot Carolina - 2 G lead
  8. I posted this elsewhere but Nashville has actually played themselves into a 2nd half playoff race. They are 2 GB right now and have been playing extremely well lately.
  9. Nashville has actually worked there way into a race for a playoff spot as well. Only 2 games back of the 2nd half IL lead at this point.
  10. Whiting strikes out the final hitter! ACL Brewers win! Moving on to the 3 game championship series to face the winner of ACL Dodgers and ACL D-Backs Red. ACL Dodgers are winning 3-2 over ACL D-Backs Red in the 7th inning.
  11. Huge strikeout! 2 outs with a runner on 2nd still. 1 out away from advancing to the ACL Final!
  12. Wild pitch moves the tying run to 2B with still only 1 out. It's getting hairy.
  13. ACL Brewers up 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th. Runner on 1st base and the ACL Rockies are pinch hitting a 24 year old...why do they have so many 23+ position players on their ACL team??
  14. Cooper Pratt with an error and the next hitter hits a 2-run HR with 1 out. ACL Brewers up 3-2 after 7 innings.
  15. Yeison Perez hits another HR! Big game player!
  16. Reece Walling and Yeison Perez go back to back! ACL Brewers up 2-0 over the super old ACL Rockies in the 1 game playoff.
  17. Time for the weekly Biloxi bullpen meltdown. Luis Amaya inherits runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs in a 1-0 game. He goes BB, BB, 1B and it's now 2-1 Pensacola with runners on the corners
  18. My mortal enemy Trevor Werner has another 2 hits so far tonight. This guy is single handedly trying to win the series for Columbia.
  19. Wes Clarke with a 110 EV HR in the 2nd for Biloxi. He's racking up big EV HR like candy lately.
  20. No EBJ after being late scratched yesterday. Not ideal. Really has been a cursed year for him.
  21. Taylor is also great defensively in the OF. LF - 376 innings, 3 DRS, 9.3 UZR/150, 4 OAA CF - 857 innings, 8 DRS, 4.2 UZR/150, 6 OAA RF - 694 innings, 5 DRS, 14.9 UZR/150, 4 AA Overall - 1982 innings, 16 DRS, 8.4 UZR/150, 14 OAA
  22. I think Diaz could possibly be up with Freeman and Olson in all honesty. He's overperforming his xwOBA but a 160 wRC+ is 2nd only to Freeman although his baserunning is truly abhorrent.
  23. I feel good. I definitely don’t feel 92.1% chance of making the playoffs good yet though like Fangraphs currently has us.
  24. I’d put Freeman, Olson, Diaz is the top 3 pretty easily. I think Alonso has a pretty solid argument for #4 as I don’t consider Bellinger a 1B as he’s only played like 230 innings at 1B this year and over 2 times that much in the OF.
  25. September 2004 but I’d just consider 2005 as his starting point.
