  1. Absolutely and it's a big reason why we should be thankful to have even won one game in this series. The A's offense is far more translatable to taking advantage of this park than the Brewers.
  2. I don't think this park needs juiced balls to play this way. It's 3000ft above sea level in a very hot/dry environment in a park where the wind consistently blows out and doesn't have the third deck to block out the wind. This park is one of the most hitter friendly parks in the PCL and the PCL is already the most (or second most) hitter friendly league in full season minor league ball. I think a good example that illustrates this is the foul pop up Rengifo caught yesterday. That ball was ticketed for the stands but the wind blew it like 20-30ft and into play and that was on a pop up going against the wind. Now imagine how that impacts any balls hit to CF/RF that are actually riding that wind.
  3. Cutter velo was where it was last year. Sinker velo was down 2.5mph compared to last year
  4. The only reason that happened was because the super shift was still a thing and 2B didn't need to have any range. Shaw would have never moved to 2B if the shift ban was a thing.
  5. It's just not going to happen. Vaughn is not going to play anywhere other there 1B and DH because that's all the he can play. Him playing 10 innings at 3B half a decade ago just doesn't matter at all.
  6. Only one of those players started tonight and he did so at 3B. Andrew Vaughn can't play 3B
  7. Vaughn's 80 wRC+ against RHP is 10th on the active roster only ahead of Rengifo, Ortiz, and Perkins
  8. Really bad offensive performance today. One of the worst of the year frankly.
  9. Brewers have one batted ball tonight between 20 and 40 LA playing in the most hitter friendly park you can play in. Not ideal. Would be cool if they were saving them all for the 9th inning I guess.
  10. Statcast can have misreads at times but it's not like a stadium gun that can run fast/cold. Uribe absolutely has that velo in the tank.
  11. Patrick has thrown two days in a row. I don't think he will be available tonight.
  12. I legit can't get over the absurdity that was Joel Kuhnel tonight. This guy averaged 94.3mph on his sinker this year for the A's. Tonight he sat 98.9. He looked absolutely filthy. I have no idea how this happened but if this is even remotely sustainable the Brewers might have done it again.
  13. Probably an excuse but I really think that whole game is different for the Brewers if the ump was a total trainwreck. He took two strikeouts away from Harrison in the 1st and 2nd innings. Without that Harrison is at 1 run and like 20 pitches through two innings instead of 2 runs and 40 pitches. That combined with a couple of joke HR I think really got into Harrison's head.
  14. Pretty positive their stadium is supposed to be a dome with window panels in the OF. Dome with a humidor (which to my understanding AAA parks don't have so not sure they have one this weekend) should be pretty huge in turning into into a semi respectable park unlike this clown show AAA park.
  15. Guaranteed road trip win playing at the two biggest clown parks you can play it. Hell freaking yeah.
  16. This park is a pathetic joke man. 94 EV, 48 LA with a .000 xBA just went for a HR.
  17. Score 5 in the 10th and lets get Ashby his 10th win.
  18. Can't believe they let a LHP face Vaughn but thank you! Tie ball game!
  19. Bullpen was so good tonight. Hopefully we seem them for one more inning.
  20. The only run he's given up was a joke of a HR on a ball that is a routine flyball to right center in every other park in baseball
