    Not strange that Fischer didn't make the list. BA dropped him out of the Top 10 on their updated team lists when they updated them mid-May. Prospect people aren't going to rate him that highly until he can cut out the swing and miss.

    Just feels like I haven't seen Chourio on the bench for matchup reasons since the first few months of his big league career back in 2024. Maybe that's the reason. I hope that's the reason and it's not him nursing an injury.

    Yeah I think everything you said makes a lot of sense (though I think Yelich is almost certainly a FA after 2028 and won't have the mutual option picked up) but I just really think Adamczewski might have a special bat. It wouldn't shock me at all if he becomes the best hitter out of the guys currently in the system. He really just seems like a complete hitter. Good contact rates, good chase rates, good power, good batted ball angles. Maybe that's less important if guys like Made and Pena can hit their potential but I really can't think of the last hitter to come through the system that was as complete as Adamczewski looks.

    I think Woodford gets DFA'd and Hardin gets called up. Crow and Sproat both make starts as well. I think the Brewers want Misiorowski and Harrison to get 5 days rest. Harrison in particular coming off a 106 pitch start.

    Just saw one of the national insiders on twitter say a FO exec told them there's no chance Alvarez gets traded this year.

    if I was the Brewers, I think Josh Adamczewski would be nearly untouchable in a trade. I just really, really believe he's going to be a good MLB hitter. I envision him being similar to the version of Bauers we are seeing this year.

    Feels like his timing is just slightly off. All of his big contact is being hit to CF. If he syncs up the timing a bit and can start pulling the ball, we could see a big hot streak where a lot of these doubles start turning into HR

    Yeah I think Crow probably is a long reliever. It's just very difficult to be successful multiple times through an order when you throw at the velo Crow does. I think Hardin has a higher floor and ceiling. If things go really well for him I think he ends up being similar to Bryan Woo though not sure his ceiling is that high. Maybe a more mid-rotation version of Woo.

    Yes they could. He could move to the 60 Day IL and be eligible to come off the IL tomorrow. I think it might just be Woodford being DFA'd though.

    Very possible but I think the Pirates might be our best competition for the division. Their rotation is legit and they actually have a pretty good lineup as well. I feel like they are a playoff team this year.

    I said it yesterday afternoon in the minor league thread and I’ll stick with it. I think Tyson Hardin is going to start today.

    They just had a segment on MLB Network going over hypothetical Skubal offers. The one they had for the Brewers was Williams, Lara, Letson.

    This is probably wrong but I looking into potential transaction type moves, I feel like Tyson Hardin might be making his big league debut in the next two days

    100 fewer PA with RISP than the Brewers and a 91 wRC+ with RISP compared to 135 for the Brewers.

    I'd say that's probably nothing. He hit right handed against the other right handed position player he faced this year.

    Proud fan moment for @Joseph Zarr with TJ Shook officially getting the call. If he sticks around long enough the Brewers might see him this weekend

    Gary Sanchez has a 120 wRC+ and pitchers have a 3.40 ERA when he's catching. I'm not sure why there's any talk of getting him off the roster. He's a power over hit guy who is going to be streaky. He was streaky hot to start the year and has been streaky cold since. It will break the other way again at some point.

    Williams was not in the Nashville lineup today for whatever it’s worth. Could just be an off day but if he was getting called up, he probably would have been headed to Milwaukee today and not playing.

    Morrison just left with an injury. Looked like lower back or left oblique.

    Murphy came down very hard on Sproat after the game. Interesting decision after giving him a big vote of confidence after his last start
