  1. Brewers are 1-10 with RISP and 10 LOB. Dbacks are 1-1 with RISP with 0 LOB lol
  2. Yeli back to regularly scheduled broadcasting there when he faced a pitcher who didn't throw him a 91mph meatball FB
  3. Very juvenile AB from them. Kelly's hard stuff was getting crushed that inning. Should have absolutely been expecting him to go soft with a runner on 3rd and less then 2 outs
  4. 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and Kelly threw 6 pitches none within half a foot of the strike zone and got 2 outs. That's just horrific from Vaughn and Frelick.
  5. He looked better against Arizona this year when he was throwing 85 than when he was throwing 92
  6. I'm worried Woodruff is hurt again. His FB averaged like 87mph in the 3rd inning and was getting misread as cutters because the velo was so low.
  7. How long do you think we have to wait until Yelich is dropped to the bottom half of the order? Dude just whiffed on a 94mph FB right down the middle and hit another weak grounder.
  8. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Brewers are tied for 1st in FRV since Pratt was called up. Our defense has been a bit of a rough spot this year compared to previous years but that seems to be turning. Pratt has been good at SS and shifting the Ortiz/Hamilton platoon to 3B has been a big boon for the 3B defense. Also helps that guys like Frelick and Mitchell seem to be settling in defensively after poor starts to the year.
  9. I think there’s no chance they trade Lara a couple months after signing him to a long year deal.
  10. If I had to bet I'd bet Adamczewski. I just think he's a special hitter. I think he can be what Jake Bauers has been for the Brewers this year.
  11. You would be correct. Win probability dropped to 18% after the Brewers didn't score in the Top of the 10th and that's based on all games and scenarios. Doesn't factor in that we were using our 5th/6th best reliever against the heart of the Dbacks order.
  12. I just hated the whole sequence. If you're pinch running Perkins there you need to get him moving. Instead Pratt first pitch bunted and it basically didn't matter at all that Perkins was the runner.
  13. This is the team that intentionally walked Turang 2 years ago to load the bases against Chourio haha
  14. Anderson pitches out of it and I should be really excited but we have Pratt-Ortiz-Yelich due up so like how am I supposed to get excited lol
  15. I don't want to ever hear Murphy talk about "win today" crap when he continues to trot Yelich out as our leadoff hitter every day. You can't say you care about winning with this guy hitting above 7 in the batting order.
  16. I don’t want the guy to croak and die but I do wish they would move on from Alvarez. He clearly has way too much influence still and I don’t believe he’s in touch with the modern reality of being an AD in this era of college sports
  17. Yeah I've seen Cubs, Reds, and Pirates fans crying about it. Even if that gets changed to a hit he still has a 1.81 ERA and is the heavy Cy Young favorite haha
  18. I can't imagine his back foot that's on the base should be towards the back side of 1B rather than the front edge putting him closer to the throw for one. He's also not stretching at all and playing the catch very deep.
  19. Now I never played 1B but something tells me this is not how your footwork should look on a ball bunted down towards 3B.
  20. If Yelich doesn't get his bat going, the best lineup for this team is Bauers at DH and Vaughn playing 1B. Bauers defense at 1B has been really poor this year and that big inning for the Reds started with Bauers just dropping the ball after Hamilton made a very good play.
  21. Burns in particular is very susceptible to being run on. Definitely could see the Brewers active on the bases today (assuming they get baserunners)
