  1. In theory you would net WAR between Heim and Quero vs Contreras when taking in consideration of what we get for Wild Bill. Again, just throwing at the wall here…
  2. Ha! At least you like South Park. Keep ‘em coming then buddy
  3. You seem like a fun guy to have a beer with Wallis. Enjoy your Saturday night pal!
  4. I thought it was Boeve and CROD your holiness?
  5. It was a troll post, Turbo. You are too shrewd!
  6. They’d probably want mlb ready guys. Maybe Perkins and Quero would be enough. I wouldn’t do that though.
  7. The bold move is sign Jonah heid and bring Quero up after a month to manipulate. But that catching situation is a gamble that likely works well if we can get a big haul for Contreras. Thoughts!??
  8. In the wake of Bauers back for next year, we should deal Black at a low for an infielder in another organization at a similar low. Any ideas?
  9. Would like Tyler Black to have gotten a real chance at this role and if he failed, pick up a Vogelbach-type-acquisition if it failed. I guess Black becomes. either Mat Gamel or Brent Rooker…
  10. Where are we going?
  11. I would defend yourself a tad better and say he’s a Cali guy from the area and maybe wants to be closer to home his final years. But he very well might reject.
  12. The bigger reason zona could be talked into maybe dealing Lawer is that Suarez was loved there and they loved him. If they found the right return for Lawler, they might get a somewhat team friendly free agency signing of Suarez.
  13. I think we’d need a Durbin type of second piece to do a Peralta/Duran trade.
  14. I saw the MLbTR non-tender list too and some names piqued my interest. Lux was one of them. Something tells me he would perform his best in his home state in our organization and he can play all over the diamond. Next, I saw the name Jake Burger with a 1B/3B position next to his name. I know we wouldn’t hand him the keys at 3B but if he can handle small doses there or even a few innings after pinch hitting, his power bat could be big for us. Lastly was Jonathan India. If he can play some SS, he’s a guy that has some pop and would be great to add to the infield mix, I do believe these guys probably require a trade of something but closer to the bargain bin type of trade capital. I’d love to add two of the three but even one of the three would have me feeling a whole lot better about our infield and potentially even open up a trade route of a Pratt centered deal to help this years squad.
  15. Just don’t spend. a sum total of whatever we spent on Sanchez/Jarvis two offseasons ago and 15-20 mil are saved. Aka….Arnold now gets trades and one and only one free agent to add to the team. Beyond that, we are running it back!
  16. I like the idea of Josh Smith from the rangers or Stott from Philly even if we have to overpay a tad in terms of an extra middling prospect. If we get one of these two, I think we can essentially run it back.
  17. Can the three of you go have a tea party with your inferiority complexes. Both of you,, as well as Big Red, seem to track my postings and follow with an “I’m an idiot” or worse type response. Now it’s your turn Turbo. Deal with it and maybe disagree more kindly in the future to fellow brewer fans.
  18. Pratt can be included in a Buxton deal as the top 50/100 guy. But we shouldn’t and won’t include Made or Pena.
  19. Bottom line is none of you (or me) know what Mark will pay for the 2026 roster. Marte absolutely fits if we don’t short on other areas of the organization. We need a bat like this somewhere and him at 2nd can work.
  20. Some of what I’m reading implied the cost for Duran wont be Peralta. Seems we can piece something together for him which makes me much more intrigued.
  21. Makes no sense. Trade your conscience as a millionaire for the equivalent of pesos.
  22. I think the Brewers got their moneys worth from Brandon Woodruff, regardless of how you want to centralize a moment or two. They banked compared to what they have paid him,
  23. I think Crow gets at least as many years on the 40 man roster as Carlos Rodriguez. There is a non-zero chance that he ends up a real solid #3 starter, though more likely an above average backend starter in 27/28.
  24. It would seem a Duran for Peralta headlined deal is screaming to be had almost as loudly as a Burnes to the Orioles fit two years ago.
