    I can't watch the game down here, so somebody tell me how Helling looks. 1 run through 3 innings is better than expected. Oh yeah, nevermind, as I type this he walks a guy and gives up a double. I was gonna ask whether he looked good or lucky thus far.

    Maybe, It is just because he is left handed, but Dana's delivery tonight reminded me of Doug Davis. Perhaps Davis taught him something. The two are (or at least were when Eveland came up) roommates. I'd be perfectly OK with Eveland turning into a Davis clone.

    OK, so Lehr didn't look as great last inning, maybe they shouldn't have trotted him back out.

    Lehr looked really good in the 5th, nice movement on his pitches. Maybe he'll still turn into the serviceable reliever we thought we were getting when the trade went down. I hope they bring him back out next inning, since it should be a nice confidence boost for him to work a couple innings when his stuff is working this well.

    Jamey Wright absolutely sucks. I know I say this every time he pitches, but I just can't believe the talent pool is shallow enough in MLB that people keep giving him a job. I'd rather go with some unproven AAAA scrub who may turn into something, as he'll never amount to jack

    I've been too drunk since my Birthday on Sunday to make it home and post whilst intoxicated. Guess what I'm doin' tonight? Boozin' with a designated driver. The ladies at the bars have been rendered defenseless now that I have a moustache.

    Is it just me or can anyone else not see any of the Brewers actually partying or going to nightclubs? Just my opinion! I've seen it several times. Several guys from other teams are apparently even worse though. Carlos Baerga has a reputation for being the biggest partier on the planet.

    I went last summer on a muggy night with the roof closed and it wasn't too comfortable, but still not as bad as the Sunday game against the Nationals I went to last week when the sun was scorching and our section (114) was packed. The good part is it's during the week so there should not be a problem with being crammed into your seat and feeling the body heat of everyone around you.

    Premium Grain Belt. Someone out there knows what I'm talking about. I got drunk off Premium at the Joynt in EC last night. Pitchers are like $5 all the time and $2.50 during happy hour.

    Yeah, listed weights and heights are always bogus. Even in high school football I remember being 6'4", 230 when I was 6'2" 220. Only the fat kids were either accurate or underestimated.

    Early night tonight. Went to a bar with my homeboy and his cousin was bartending. Free drinks for us...not the best idea. Reading draft coverage with one eye covered so I only see one swirling image instead of two.

    Is anyone else encouraged that the Crew seemed to not draft any freaks of nature today? By that, I mean we didn't see any 6'7" LHPs drafted with marginal scouting reports who seemed to be drafted only because of freakish height and athletic ability but no results.

    Since moving back to Eau Claire 3 weeks ago, I don't think I have gone a day without drinking. Last night we were on Water St. in E.C. until bar close, then ended up at my friend's apartrment until 6:00. I got up around 3:00 and went to the gym and despite having showered, I swear bar smell came out of my pores to the point that everyone could smell it.

    I agree with Ralph 100%. There's a difference between some guys who get a little touchy one in a while and throw the discussion of course, but that guy did it in every thread he posted in. Everything was a quest for attention and an attempt to be an enlightened martyr unjustly crucified by the masses of uneducated brutes. When a guy pulls that a couple times, fine, he was "having a bad day" or "upset that chicks don't dig his new mesh tanktop", and we should let it die in the thread the flame began in. When it becomes a pattern and the guy continues to be this way after being warned, he gets what's coming to him when he's banned.

    Stupid friggin FSN southwest. Those jerks are airing the Rangers/D-Rays game instead tonight, then going with the Brewers and Astros tomorrow night, the one night I have a late class (until 9:30) and wouldn't be able to watch. It's a conspiracy against me.
