  1. Hopefully the crowd Behaves better than Wrigley Story forthcoming. A 10-year old boy Complete with crazy mohawk Sitting with father Together they start To tell right "They're number 1" With middle fingers Jacque Jones denies boy Baseball used between innings Respond with F-bombs Cursing is ok Male anatomy is not "You can't say balls, son." Chicago is weird Pittsburgh has friendlier folk Still hope they lose though.
  2. Section four nineteen How'd that kid get in center? Oh, thats Chris Duffy. Miles above field, Players look diminutive. Duffy still tinier.
  3. Lyrical gangster has acquired crystal ball we win seven two
  4. For those of you purchasing jerseys, use this coupon: Cafe Press - $5 off $20 | GASHESALDER | Exp : 2007-05-02
  5. I know that just basic field rental is only $6, so thats not much of an issue. Availability on the date we determine my main concern, though I'm sure we won't have a problem finding a field once we settle on a date.
  6. I'm sure both managers are pretty busy with other things, and if that is the case, I'd love to either assist in the organization, or lead it. Obviously, keeping it from conflicting with fanfest would probably be a good idea, and I think Helfaer is a bad idea (now that I know that you have to use a mush ball). To me, the Johnson Creek area seems to make sense, as it is basically the midpoint between the two cities. The problem would probably be locating a field, as I'm not sure if we have any team members (from either side) living in that area. Otherwise, if the Madison team would be willing to travel down, there's tons of fields at our disposal, and we could coordinate such that we play in the morning/afternoon, and there is a Saturday night brewer game. A quick check returns the following dates: May 19 June 2 June 23 July 14 July 21 Aug 4 Aug 18 Maybe at everybody's next practice the managers could ask the team what dates they prefer, and we can figure out logistics around that date. Edit: I know in the Milwaukee area Wilson Park has a softball stadium. Not sure on availability, but they also have quite a few fields there.
  7. take 43 south to the Hwy 100 exit. Hang a right at the end of the ramp, hang a right on Janesville road, hang a right on 116th st, hang a left at the first stop sign, parking lot is on the left.
  8. For not being a scalper, that is a great graphic from seatdata.com (which you must pay for to get a picture that size), complete with your own editing with an arrow pointing to the specific chairs. I'll bid $2.
  9. Thank you mlb.com lag. I assume JJ is not hitting anymore.
  10. This makes me sad on the inside. As much as I'd love to play there, I'd much rather play with real softballs. Lets get a date worked out, and RESERVE a field (its not that expensive).
  11. Bleacher box, row 2. 2 friends bailed, so now I have 2 extras. Face $24/each, I'll take $30 total for both. Obviously time is of the essence, so please send me a message soon to arrange an exchange (I'm a delivery guy during the day, so it should be pretty easy in the Milwaukee area). Thanks!
  12. First off, I really hope this happens. It would be awesome. 2nd, we could probably just have a member of each team that is not in the field officiate (if they end up in the field later, just switch out). Techincally, I'm a WUA grad if that matters, though I haven't done it in a while. My main concern would be finding/reserving a field that is suitable for both teams. Helfaer would rock, but otherwise something between would be cool (Johnson Creek area?).
  13. [texan drawl] Hey boy, this ain't no darn tootin' Round Rock. All that comes from Texas is steers and bad pitchers, and I don't see no horns on you boy. [/texan drawl] I'd say we should hit him hard, but past experience scares me.
  14. I'll be there Saturday.
  15. I've never been, but would Madison be capable of supporting a AA/AAA team? I know the Mallards are pretty popular, but i know nothing about their stadium. ******on seems to draw really well too, though i don't know their current contract situation. That said, I'd totally go to Stade Olympique to see Will Inman's AAA debut.
  16. In if enough people commit. At least 6 hopefully.
  17. First off, spell check fails thee. Secondly, isn't there a hall of fame game in Cooperstown EVERY year?
  18. I'm down with Sunday night if others will be there.
  19. Out with illness (cold).
  20. I'll take them!! Sent you a message.
  21. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO GIANT BOBBLEHEAD MAN!!!!
  22. I'm out for Saturday, but totally in for Sunday if it happens.
  23. For bats, I like Burghardt's, if for no other reason than you can test them out for free at their batting cages. My bat is a green Easton somethingorother, from Dunhams (yea, contradicting myself).
  24. Ed Thomas Insurance v. Milwaukee Church of Christ.... The final battle between good and evil. Definitely a must-see event! Edit: That should be blue. I'm sure Ed Thomas is a nice guy.
