    I S I should have said so far because 2 are with Nashville Sounds and doing well. Taylor Rogers 5.48 ERA. with Brewers ... Average, I actually liked him very much at first. Esteuty Ruiz .000 batting average with Brewers Dinelson Lamet DFA 1st week Estury Ruiez Looks awesome in AAA so no comment yet Robert Gasser also looks very promising in AAA

    Your right, I do agree the secondary part of the trade for Josh Hader looked better after the William Contreras deal. But the initial part for Hader, the Brewers acquired reliever Taylor Rogers, righty Dinelson Lamet (whom they immediately designated for assignment) and two prospects, outfielder Esteury Ruiz and left-hander Robert Gasser.

    Brewers notoriously are zipper lipped about everything. We will probably will be 100% surprised again, I just hope it will be a good one this time. Getting a 1/2 dozed nobodies for Josh Hader is at the top of the list.

    Chris Russo on MLB Network said: He is mad at Counsell for lying about why he took the job in Chicago, "being close to home in WI" was the first reason Craig gave. "He's not working in a textile mill for cripes sake and has to drive from WI everyday to Chicago. He took the job because they gave him 40 million and working in the 3rd biggest sports market, why lie about it, just say it." He also said, David Ross got screwed because if Counsell is a better coach than Ross he is only better by about 10% maybe. I hope they interview David Ross for the Brewers opening.

    On 670 AM The Score Chicago Sports Radio said "I want David Ross to be so red ass mad about his firing, hop onto I-94 to Milwaukee and interview for there managerial opening. Can you imagine the gasoline that will be thrown on this rivalry." Also "Cody Bellinger and Markus Stroman opt out of there 2024 contracts with Chicago." The only problem is Ross has one more year on his contract with the Cubs so he will have to give that up to manage this season. "I wish David Ross nothing but the best because he is a great manager."

    Teams now needing new managers after Cleveland snapped up Steven Vogt. Starting With The Los Angeles Angels, The Houston Astros, New York Mets, San Diego Padres and The Milwaukee Brewers. Radio said everyone thought Craig Counsell would go to the Mets and follow Stearns. The media seems to be wrong about everything, especially politics.

    My two choices would be Stephen Vogt or David Ross.

    I say we hire David Ross and make this a real rivalry again, I am not shedding one single tear that Craig is gone. I am especially not a fan of his pitching changes during the past season.
