  1. Jerry Augustine said he likes for a post season starting rotation of Peralta, Woodruff, Priester but the Brewers bullpen concerns him the most with D.L. Hall and Trevor Megill both still questionable. As someone stated on yesterdays thread, it may be Chad Patrick as a bullpen arm for the playoffs. Yesterday Patrick pitched one inning and struck out the side in relief.
  2. "Jerry Augustine said Brewers bullpen concerns him the most, with D.L. Hall and Trevor Megill still questionable." As someone stated earlier it may be Chad Patrick in the bullpen for the playoffs.
  3. Then we will be tied for 1st with the Cubs with 7 to play just like you said and we better in more than them in the last 7 games. 😁
  4. It's amazing you can write a story about Roberto Clemente and barely even mention baseball. He was my favorite player as a kid and loved the Pirates because of him. One of the greatest humanitarians and right fielders of all time with a .317 career average. Who lost his life helping others and we wouldn't even know who he was without baseball.
  5. Maybe it's because there barreled ball % is down also. They are dead last in that category I believe. Not a good trend. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/league?season=2025#:~:text=AL East,Rockies [-43.5]
  6. The whole team seems to have fell off a cliff as of late.
  7. Ortiz has logged 1127.1 innings at SS this season, Monasterio has logged 184 innings at SS this season. Just breath into a paper bag when you start thinking about major changes right after Brewers were the first team to punch a postseason ticket to the playoffs.
  8. "Brewers would be well-served using the rest of September to keep key players healthy and audition others for potential October roles, but they cannot lose their competitive edge. It's not a switch they can freely toggle off and on based on the situation." I agree 100% but they may have already lost some of that edge, playing only .500 baseball the last 30 games.
  9. Not sure how a farewell letter should be written. Has to be a hard letter to wright.
  10. Miz has a 4.35 ERA now for the year and a 6.16 ERA his last 7 outings so we have to.
  11. Murphy said postgame: "Not one media analyst, sports handicapper or analytical site had us even picked to make the playoffs, not a single one." 😄
  12. Megill had a flexor tendon strain, that actually can end a career if it pops. Does Damian Lillard and Aaron Rodgers ring a bell? Even though theirs were a different tendon in the leg but if your a pitcher and it pops his career is over but minor strains/tears might heal in several weeks to a month. Brewers only goal is to get him healed and ready for the playoffs. Unless if it is worse than what management is telling us.
  13. Anything past 4 is would be an unexpected bonus. It should mean he is being efficient.
