  1. The Brewers were playing there best baseball when Collins was in the lineup every day but that was before his baby was born. I would love to see him play the last 3 games of the season also, to at least see if he snapped out of it yet.
  2. If we are limping into the playoffs the bye will serve us well. Also our top 7 hitters should be not in this particular order, Frelick, Turang, Contreras, Yelach, Durbin, Vaughn. I would love to put Collins in there but he has been in such a slump. The Brewers were playing there best baseball when he was in the lineup every day but that was before his baby was born. 3. Or, MLB hitters/batters are just so much better than AAA hitters it puts a lot of extra stress on him as a pitcher. He probably had much shorter innings in Nashville also because they just couldn't hit him, thus more innings.
  4. Off topic but may affect Miz: Trevor Megill. Targeting a Sunday return, Megill hopes to appear in the regular-season finale before the postseason, recovering from a flexor strain.
  5. Trevor Megill after a multi “inning” bullpen session. He’s graduated from “decent” to “way more decent” and, provided he recovers well, is on track to face hitters Friday and potentially pitch Sunday vs. Cincinnati.
  6. You said: "Misiorowski pitched as a reliever in Triple-A down the stretch a year ago." I hope that is his roll in the postseason because I believe he is a once threw the order pitcher or 4 innings if he is really dealing that outing. So a 55 pitch limit I would say but that may even be on the high side. If he is kept off the roster I would assume he may be having arm issues like 40% of our pitchers already have this season.
  7. Mets 6 Cubs 2 Top of 6th
  8. I like Murphy way better than Counsell as a coach and to proove it all you have to do is look at the team payrolls. Cubs spent $100 million more than the Brewers this season on players. If the Brewers had that extra 100 million I gaureentee you we would be a better team. Counsell left for two reasons his personal pay and a big bump in spending for players. Not because Chicago is a nicer place to live.
  9. I just seen the news, Guardians DH David Fry taken to hospital after hit in face by Tarik Skubal pitch. Stephen Vogt was very shaken also. https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/sports/mlb/cleveland-guardians/2025/09/23/david-fry-injury-guardians-tigers-tarik-skubal/86318942007/
  10. He struggled badly in 2023 though (5.87 ERA), and made only five starts in 2024 before his elbow gave out and he had Tommy John surgery. Manoah has not pitched in the majors this 2025 season.
  11. You never heard it from me, I was never a big Counsell fan. In fact Murf was Craig's manager at Noter Dame when craig was a kid.
  12. He will be there, he can lead from the bench. Experienced players may help their younger teammates stay focused by sharing coping strategies and modeling composure in high-stakes situations.
  13. Also, at the plate Ortiz last 15 games he has been 12 for 40 which is exactly a .300 avg. Good very time for him to maybe get hot at the plate. 😊
  14. Just noticed Hoskins and Bauers have the exact same batting avg for the year but Bauers is the hottest hitter on the team as of late. .412 last 15 games with 6 walks also.
  15. Lineups Today: https://www.mlb.com/gameday/brewers-vs-padres/2025/09/24/776198/preview
  16. Not a fan of yesterdays lineup choice either, not sure what Murphy was trying to do but I hope he ditches it forever after yesterdays game. For one Yelach never should be a leadoff hitter he did not look comfortable at all in yesterdays game.
  17. Well our team Batting avg last 30 games is .270 if these stats are correct, which is tied for second in MLB with the Phillys so its lack of chutch hitting or pitching doing us in. https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/mlb-teams-stats-last-30-days
  18. Want to see something funny? Look at Zimmermans ERA last 7 games. https://www.mlb.com/player/bruce-zimmermann-669145
  19. People are even grouchy when we win is what gets me because of moves Murphy makes. I have a Brewers T-shirt that is uncanny how much much they lose when I ware it, like about 90% of the time. I will not be waring it any more this season.
  20. Are there any MLB teams that Brewer fans dislike more than the Cards and Cubs?
  21. Agree 100%, execpt lets do it by scoring a lot of runs instead of having a pressure cooked pitching staff.
