  1. He is worked to frequently when his #'s start dropping like velo & balls and strikes, hits. Just all data-driven analysis. IMO. If you talking about Megill. It shouldn't be that hard to spot. It's an individual thing not one size fits all. Murphy didn't use him tonight which was the right thing to do.

  3. You were right about IP but Carlos Estevez, Robert Suarez, Jeff Hoffman, Emilio Pepan, Ryan Helsley, Pete Fairbanks, Raisel Iglesias, Kenley Jansen, Emmanuel Clase and Kyle Finnegan, pitched a few more innings but all have higher ERA's than Trevor Megill. My point was he needs a fragging break! He is way more important than your computer comparisons and then end up loosing him for the year.
  4. So don't cry about Trevor Megill then when he blows a save because from your list: Carlos Estevez, Robert Suarez, Jeff Hoffman, Emilio Pepan, Ryan Helsley, Pete Fairbanks, Raisel Iglesias, Kenley Jansen, Emmanuel Clase and Kyle Finnegan, all have higher ERA's than Trevor Megill. My point was he needs a fragging break! He is way more important than your comparing every best closer in the MLB to Megill for the whole year. Than being overused as of late as Megill is.
  5. Trevor has been used 9 times from July 4 to July 24 plus the times he warmed up and wasn't even used. Megill is not a bad closer unless you use him to much which may be the case right now. Megill's ERA is 2.54 today even counting yesterday. Oh by the way Megill has pitched 46 innings this year // Misiorowski 38.2 to put things in perspective. Brewers need to put a quick end to his overuse.
  6. And in Megill's defense: Trevor has been used 9 times from July 4 to July 24 plus the times he warmed up and wasn't even used. He is going to end up like Devin Williams if things don't change soon. Megill is not a bad closer unless you use him to much which may be the case right now. Megill's ERA is 2.54 today even counting yesterday. Oh by the way Megill has pitched 46 innings this year // Misiorowski 38.2 to put things in perspective.
  7. Monasterio .260 is playing great for a bench guy, I have zero problems with him. My personal cutoff is .200 if your below that you should be scrutinized very closely if you have a fair amount of at bats which to me is about 30
  8. What got me yesterday was the pinch hitter choices of Murphy. Who ever heard of Bauers and Seigler as your "go to guys" to win the game for you at the end? Bauers batting .060 / 2 for his last 33. He should not even be in Nashville let alone the Brewers. Then Seigler who is three times better than Bauers batting .208 Bauers has to be cut/released the very second we call up Hoskins.
  9. Especially as worn out our bullpen seems to be.
  10. I'm sure Kiner-Falefa would have cost them a lot more is the only reason.
  11. Maybe Murf's gut was low on pancakes.
  12. Durbin was 2-4 TODAY! Who gives a monkeys butt what he did the previous week. I seen that post like 8 stinking times now. Murphy does not believe in him for some reason. But Siegler? He will be lucky if he is even in the bigs next season.
  13. Yes, because 7 games isn't crap Durbin is a better hitter. I don't see Seigler ever being good.
  14. Mona is better than Siegler in my opinion.
  15. Murphy knows he screwed up by his mannerisms in the post game. I always ******* at Counsell for putting in relievers like Chafen all the time but Murphy does the same thing except with using the lowest ave hitter on the team to pinch hit.
  16. I agree Murphy doesn't seem to like Durbin in clutch situations but Seigler? Come on.
  17. The game may be shorter than the Uecker celebration.
  18. Brewers 17th sellout this season.
  19. We had 3 years of Hasse and 3 weeks of Jansen is one reason.
  20. I posted that after the first batter 20 minutes ago.
  21. That sign usually come from the 3rd base coach unless it was Sals decision.
