  1. OK I do agree but if it happens again his next outing there is more to it. I just keep hoping its not an IL stint like Yelich, Josh Hader or Devin Williams had is all I'm saying. Because they do happen.
  2. #3 starter, I'm just hoping he won't be on the IL for the playoffs the way he looked yesterday coming off the tibia injury. If you start favoring your leg and throw differently that could screw up your arm/shoulder.
  3. Did you see him pitch yesterday? He gave up 5 runs with 3 walks in 1.1 innings, he was not himself at all. Hopefully just a bad day but not sure about that.
  4. Yes yesterday was the first of 19 games in 18 days. That is going to be brutal on the pitching staff.
  5. So your saying Isaac Collins should not have been let off cuz his wife is having a baby? The only other "not regular starter" was Berroa who is a great defender. I agree did not get a hit but made a great defensive play to save a run/rally.
  6. Even without Miz if we "let him rest for another 2-3 weeks" we should be able to do that. He is my main concern as of today, August 16th.
  7. Just saying, 54 pitches in 1 1/3 innings is a major red flag. That's not just an off day. Limiting his workload now may be an assessment to late. I just hope Miz was honest with the coaching staff and not saying I'm ok, I'm ok, I'm ok, if he wasn't ok.
  8. Your very optimistic with your assessment but then you say cut his workload so even you don't believe he is 100%. I'm just saying, by chance Miz having the worst outing of his career yesterday after skipping a start which was odd in the first place is only a flip of a coin that he is A-OK.
  9. I would send down Miz, I think there may be something wrong with his arm. But that is for medical to decide not me. I thought there was something odd about him skipping a start and being put on the 15 day injured list. They said he just needed rest and listed it as a tibia contusion but i'm not buying that now.
  10. We need to call someone up for tomorrow, Relievers and runs won it tonight.
  11. LOL, I took a shower and Brewers scored 2 runs just the few minutes I was in there.
